We talked the night away. You know, with Daniel. Turns out we had a lot in common. Our music preferences, tv shows, places we like to visit, and way more. I hardly got any work done that night, but I didn't regret it.

It's now been two months since that happened. And now, we've moved on to being really good friends. He's an actual human being that I actually enjoy hanging out with. Not like my other uni friends who are extremely loud to the extent of getting noise complaints even with sound proof walls. He's quiet and simple. When I first met him he was shy and reserved. He still is, but maybe it'll change.

A knock was heard at the door, making me pause my music and smile. I close my laptop and stand up and stretch my long legs. I grab my purse that was on my bed and run straight to the door.

"I'm heading out!" I say throughout the house.

"Again?" Dodie said with a smirk. "We're just friends! Now hush up, I'll see you later," I joke.

I quickly make sure I have everything before opening the door to a familiar pair of black eyes.

"Hello," He says, looking up from the floor. I smile, "You know I could just walk down and meet you outside rather than you coming all the way up here and back again," I exclaim, closing the door behind me.

"But that's not gentlemen enough, don't you think?" He winks. I nudge him a little and he leads me to the black cab. It's been a while since I've seen him actually. His friend Phil came into town a week ago and he's been hanging out with him ever since. I don't mind too much though (as long as he doesn't forget about me).

The cab driver takes us to an old restaurant. The one on the corner of Main and 6th. Hardly no one goes there anymore due to how old it is. People always forget about it. It's a shame really, it's an amazing restaurant. Dan opens the cab door for me as he pays the driver quickly. He holds out his arm, "Are you ready?"

"Of course I am sir," I say cheeky before taking his arm and heading inside. The outside is old cracked black painted wood, that gives it a old urban look. But heading inside is another thing. The inside is decorated with lovely pictures and round tables with high chairs placed randomly. There fairy lights here and there but there are also main lights too (cause the fairy lights are way too dim). There's an upstairs which is sort of a lounge if you don't want to eat. There's long gray couches and  pool and a bar for your friends. That's the beauty of this place, really.

Dan leads me to an empty table where we then order food. We talk for hours and hours without stopping. That's my favorite thing about him. He can actually keep a conversation going. His dumb remarks and everything. I never wanted it to end because honestly.

I think I'm falling for him.
