Y/n's POV

Today is Pete's last day in [hometown]. We are having one final lunch date before they have to head off. It really breaks my heart that he can't stay with me forever but I know he has to continue.

- le time skip -

Pete and I arrive at the fairly crowed restaurant. We find a seat and look through our menus.

Half way through eating main course I get a horrible sick feeling. What if this is all set up because why on earth would Pete fricking Wentz want to be with me! ME!

"Excuse me" I say getting up from my table and running to the bathroom trying not to let tears escape my eyes. It all made sense now.

Pete's POV

"Excuse me" Y/n says getting up and almost running to the bathroom.

A man on the table next to me taps in on the shoulder.

"Hey mate you fucked up good." He says.

"What are you saying?" I asked confused and angry.

"Oh your date just ran to the toilet crying." He says.

I stand up from the table and run into the female bathroom without thinking.

There she is.

My beautiful date.

Sitting on the expensive floor balling her eyes out. I sit next to her.

"Y/n what's going on"

"Stop the act Pete I know what you're doing!" She sobs.

"What are you talking about?"

"I know this is all a set up and it was some stupid dare or something. Why would you ever want to take me out" she mumbled the last sentence.

Without thinking I break the distance between us and meet her lips. She jumps at first but melts into the kiss.

She pulls away.

"Y/n I like you... a lot I didn't want to admit because I was scared of rejection but y/n will you be my girlfriend?" I say wiping her tears.

"Of course Pete! But what about tour?" She says smiling.

"We will work it out" I say helping her up.

We walk out of the bathroom hand in hand and order dessert.

The man next to me whispers, "good save brother"
