Shay's POV

It's been a month since Charlie's been inducted into our crazy family. I'd say she's adjusted well, aside from the few ups and downs. Her and Brock have become especially close, considering they're only a year apart. Avia, Emmi, and Gavin would all have some special things they do with her as well, just trying to get her comfortable and get used to having this much family. Charlie also liked helping Colette with Daxton, things like getting a new diaper for him, or even rocking him in his swing. The girls had successfully made her a little mommy.

She had adjusted to the vlogs now too, and the viewers were adjusting too. Charlie liked to go make her own vlogs with Brock, usually consisting of the two running around the house with the camera. It was amazing that she adjusted so fast to this lifestyle, but I guess at her age every child adjusts quickly.

Currently, the girls were upstairs in Emmi and Charlie's room, and the boys were in there room, and Colette and I were making dinner while Daxton was napping. Colette was boiling the spaghetti, and I was buttering up the garlic bread before I put it in the oven.

"Daddy?" It was Brock. "Can I help?" He already found his apron from his toy box, and was holding it out to me, waiting for me to tie it on him.

"Weren't you playing with Gav?" I asked, crouching down to his level.

"He no want to play Spiderman with me." Brock said sadly, looking down at the floor.

"Well I'm almost done with this, so why don't you go see if Daxton's awake?"

"Ok!" He smiled and dropped the apron, picking it up when Colette playfully scolded him. I took out the camera from my pocket, deciding it was a good time to vlog. We were planning on having family time later on anyway, so I wanted to have enough footage for tomorrow's video.

"Hello guys," I said to the camera, "It's almost dinner time, and we are finishing up the spaghetti." I walked over to Colette and filmed her stirring the pasta. "There goes the clicky stove." I chuckled.

"It's only good when I make it." Colette smirked, holding up the wooden spoon.

"The stove or the pasta?"

Colette rolled her eyes at me and smirked, "The pasta."

I laughed and left the kitchen, going towards Gavin's room. "What's up, Sontizzle?"

"I'm making a tech deck park." Gavin answered from his desk. He had a bunch of paper plates and paper towel rolls scattered on his desk, along with glue and tape. "See?"

"I see." I laughed, vlogging a bit more and shut the camera off, putting it back in my pocket. "C'mon, dinner time."

--

"This is yummy." Emmi smiled, shoveling more pasta into her mouth. Her mouth had bits of sauce gathered at the corners, and she used her napkin to wipe it off.

"Thank you, Loofus." Colette smiled at Emmi, chuckling. "I'm glad you like it."

"How about you, Charlie? Do you like it?" I asked my three year old, who was sipping apple juice from her sippy cup.

She nodded quickly, setting her cup down and taking a big bite of the garlic bread. "Yummy."

We all chuckled, and finished up dinner.

"Can we go play now?" Avia asked, who had just finished her meal. Emmi and Charlie had as well, and sat in their chairs waiting.

"Sure, go ahead." Colette let them go, leaving Brock and Gavin to be the only kids left. The three girls scampered up the stairs, going straight back to Emmi and Charlie's room.

--

Colette and I were seated on the couch with Daxton and Brock, watching T.V. The other kids were still in their rooms, happily playing around, a few shrieks and giggles heard every now and then. Avia and Emmi definitely opened little Charlotte up, that's for sure. Colette and I planned on putting Brock and Charlie in daycare for the summer too, just to get them out of the house and so they could make friends.

"We watch Nemo?" Brock asked from beside me, his little voice echoing in the quiet living room.

"I guess." Colette shrugged, getting up and looking for Finding Nemo in our ridiculously large collection of movies. She found it and put it in the DVD player, as I put Dax on my lap.

Ten minutes into the movie, I heard a thump and wailing coming from upstairs. I shrugged it off, thinking Avia shoved Emmi and she fell. Hey, that may sound rude, but it happens a lot. Brock and Daxton's eyes were glued to the movie.

"Mommy! Daddy!" Avia came running down the stairs and into the living room. "Charlie can't breathe!"
