Did they have some sort of condition that prohibits them from having any romantic relationships until a certain date?
I guessed it made sense, since JYP would want them to focus first on their careers, and relationships between celebrities usually result in some kind of backlash.
I couldn't look this up on the internet, since Tzuyu and I technically promised not to search up anything about her so that we could get to know each other like normal people.
I decided to let this all blow over and focus first on my work, since it was what truly mattered at the time. Taking my seat at my desk, I opened up on the computer and began the tedious process of editing each line of translated dialogue that had to be synchronized with what the people were actually saying.

Gosh, what is their problem!?
I love them and all, but is going to an ice cream parlor with a guy friend such a big deal that they had to question me interrogation style for half an hour?
I felt completely drained.
The shock of discovering the news in the morning and the interrogation was just a bit too much for me.
Even after over five years of living here in Korea, I was still obnoxiously shy.
How was he able to become so fluent in Korean? I wish I was as talented as him. He's so admirable.
Knowing that many languages, even when he's a year younger than me, that just completely unheard of. Absolutely mind-blowing.
I flopped down on my bed and sighed heavily, relaxing my tense muscles.
I could have really used a massage.
We even had a song that was scheduled to be released around the second week of December! We had the lyrics and choreography for the verses done, but the chorus and the title were the only problems. None of us could think of a catchy, original phrase that people would be humming to while making their breakfast meals. We needed inspiration, desperately.
Thinking about how y/n was so good when it came to languages, I suddenly felt motivated to open up my Korean Education book that I got as a gift from my mom.
Wow, I miss her.
It would make her proud if became completely fluent in Korean!
I moved back into the living room, since the room that I shared with Chaeyoung and Dahyun didn't have any desk that I could put my stuff on.
I dedicated the rest of the day to learning it, immersing myself in my book and notes.

"AAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" I groaned tiredly as I raised my arms to stretch my back.
I looked at the time and noticed that it was already two in the morning. I completely ignored the passage of time, and it felt like I only started working a few minutes ago.
I guess time really does fly.
I was finally done editing in all languages, and emailed it to the publishing department, where it would be reviewed and eventually sent to a TV station to be aired to the public.
The dorm was pretty quiet, so I assumed that everyone was already asleep.
I itched my throat as it was incredibly dry and I was really thirsty.
I got up from my seat and slipped my feet into my white house slippers, soothed by the soft and comfy cotton texture.
I was still steady on my feet, despite being incredibly exhausted when Tzuyu and I got back home earlier afternoon.
I mean yesterday.
The wonders that coffee from a mini fridge can do.
I opened my door and begun to walk into the living room when I noticed that the light was still on, and I could hear the scratching of a pencil on paper, along with some huffs that sounded like the person it was coming from was starting to get irritated.
I continued to walk until the culprit finally came into full view.
I could see Tzuyu brushing her hair back as she stared intently at a book with a notebook and some pencils next to it.
I crossed my arms and leaned my body on the corner of the wall.
"What are you doing up this late?" I chuckled.
She almost jumped as her pencil flew in the air and her knee hit the bottom of the dinner table.
"Ow!" she gasped in pain. "You scared me, you idiot!"
I rushed to her and examined her knee. There wasn't any cut or bruise anywhere, so it was probably just a simple knee bump.
"Aw, did you get a booboo?" I teased her. I was granted an annoyed and angry face as compensation.
"I'll kill you," she said. Her voice was starting to get a little scary.
"I was just kidding!" I pleaded. "Do you want an ice pack?"
"No!" she replied. "It's cold enough as it is!"
"Suit yourself," I pulled out a chair and took my seat beside her.
"Anyways," I continued. "You didn't answer my question."
"Oh, right," she answered. "I just really want to get better at Korean, you know? So that I could talk with people easier and communicate with the fans and all that stuff."
"Yeah, it looks you're stuck right here," I pointed at the area where she was having difficulty.
"Yeah," she said, looking down.
"Don't be ashamed," I assured her, lifting her chin up. "Korean is one of the hardest languages to learn, you know?"
"Not for you, it wasn't," she pouted.
"Yeah, well, it differs from person to person," I chuckled.
We sat in silence for a minute or so until Tzuyu finally spoke up.
"Hey," she still wasn't looking at me.
"Yeah?"
"Is there any chance that you could, um," she was now twiddling with her fingers. "Could you help me learn? Teach me?"
"Sure, why not?" I smiled, and she finally looked at my face and smiled back.
"Thank you so much~!"

(Nayeon)
"Sure, why not?" I heard him say.
"Thank you so much~!" Tzuyu cooed.
Hmph.
