Fate (Taehyung X Reader)

"I think I love you."

Taehyung went home after we ate dinner, saying he needed to leave before something happened, I didn't know at the time what he was talking about. After about three hours of flipping through channels, and watching an episode of my favorite k-drama, I knew what he meant.

basically, this is how it went down...

I sat on the couch eating, and he handed me a napkin, smiling. I laughed a little after I finished the bite I was eating. I hadn't realized that my over sized shirts neckline had fell a little, I caught him staring a couple of times before I realized what he was looking at, and quickly fixed it, blushing slightly. "Hah.... um, would you like some more tea?" I asked, trying to cool my face, he just looked up at me, and he blushed lightly, which mind you, I hadn't noticed at the time, and gulped. "Are you ok Tae?" I asked tilting my head. "I... I better go, I might.... do something I'll regret later..." he stated, standing up, walking quickly to the door, and slipped his shoes on before bolting out the door.

I looked out my window, and saw him talking to himself, and walking back and forth, before he flopped onto his couch, and hung his head off the arm of it, making direct eye contact with me. Causing him to jump back up, and run into a different room. I sighed to myself. "What the hell....?" I asked myself out loud. "If he likes me, he could tell me, I'd except it..." I announced out loud. I dozed off by myself, thinking about none other than the man next door.

"I think I love you."

I contemplated calling her, or texting her, anything really, I couldn't help it... I've been single for so long, that seeing a girls bra from her neckline killed me inside. My stomach twisted at the thought, knowing she was just my friend, and that she showed no signs of liking me in any way past friendship. I felt a headache begin to make its way, just to add onto how awful I felt. I walked back out into the living room, just to see her napping. I stood there, staring at her. She looked peaceful. 'Close your curtains damnit!' I thought to myself.

I decided I would tell her in the morning, just to see what would happen, we have been friends for a month now... My concern is maybe she has someone back at home.

I nocked on her door, scared shitless because of what I was about to ask. A few minutes passed before I heard her unlock the door. "Tae? Do you know what time it is?" She asked, ushering me inside. I walked in, and stood at the door, not taking off my shoes. "I have to ask you a question." I began, her eyes widened, as if she already knew what I was about to ask. "We've been friends for a month now, and I was wondering if you'd be willing to give me a chance at being your boyfriend." I stated bluntly. I looked down and kept my eyes shut, not really wanting to know what her answer would be. "Yes."
