Chapter 3:The Search

His father's mouth thinned as he runs to catch her

After minutes his Father entered the dinning room with an expression putting a smile on my lips

"I'm very sorry Mr.Romano" His father apologized down to the ground to me and my father

"Please forgive me but my daughter called the arrangement off" He said again almost kneeling down

"I-I will talk to her please give me time"he begged

"Its fine no need for it Mr.Swan"I replied

"What a disappointment!" Selo uttered  lighting a cigarrette with me

"Lets go back to Italy .Lets continue our seach there" He said

"No Papa...I think I will look for a bride here in New York" I said with a smile

Andrea Frause's Pov

I knocked on Louie's apartment for the  hundreth time now

Finally the lock clicked and Louie wrapped in a baby pink towel screamed but was quickly withdrawed

"Oh its just you" he said putting his hand on his chest

"What's with the over reaction?" I asked walking in

"I'm sorry its just I don't see a limping witch in my door at One in the morning" he said with a tone as he closed the door

"Hi baby"he greeted and kissed my cheek like he does every time he sees me

" I told you not to do that...It looks like you're flirting with me"I scolded

"What?I like calling baby,you're my baby sis...anyways...What happened to you?you look like shit" he said leading me to seat down on his white couch

"Louie I need your help" I said in a rush and in desperation

"Louie who?" He asked putting his hand on his ear sign of not hearing clearly

I rolled my eyes

"Antoinet I need you help" I repeated

Louie Anton Volar aka Antoinet,my bestfriend since I was 10.He has features girls go crazy for but sadly he go crazy for men

"What do you need baby?" He asked

I looked at him with serious eyes

"I need you to find a man richer than Fabian who will agree to marry me"

"What?!" His loud voice filled the quiet room

"You see my father wants me to find a man who is as rich or richer than Fabian to marry or else I will marry Fabian—"

"Wait,your father wants you to marry that pig?" He asked in shock

I nodded in reply

"Tell me everything" he ordered

"That old bag!" He shouted standing up while his manly fists tightly clench"I wish he broke is neck with that fall and died!"

I can't help but let out a low laugh hearing his voice man up

"Believe me I wished the same" I said sitting him down

"And Mr.Frause asked you to find a man richer than him in a day?!that's crazy!it's like a chanceless chance!"

"I know" I replied lowering my gaze

"Okay lets see a rich man that's in Manhattan...hmm" he put his finger on his chin as his blue eyes stared at his chandelier that hung on his white high ceiling

"Oh Mr.Lucca!" He said putting his finger up

"Louie!he is older than Fabian!" I reminded him

"Oh yeah..." He said drawing his hand back"but that old goat will surely take you in"he murmured in a low laugh

"Louie!"

"Okay okay..."

We exchanged names for the past hours but each of them are a fail

"Oh !" I screamed holding his arm

"What's the crazy idea?" He asked full of interest

"Its crazy alright..." I looked at him intently as I lowered down on the ground kneeling down"I want you to marry me"

He jolted up and his eyes opened wide
"What?!" He shrieked

"Marry me...Im begging you" I begged

"Eww!no!I will not marry a girl!"he said firmly pulling his towel to cover his chest more

Seeing my blued expression he sat down

" look even if you convince me to marry you,I am not as rich as that man"

Oh yeah...I forgot

"Im sorry Andrea,there are lots of rich people here in New York but not as rich as Fabian,some are richer but we cant reach them by the time your father gave and others are older than Fabian" he said with sorrowful eyes

I felt my mind weaken knowing that it is true

"Oh I know!a friend of mine will have a charity party tomorrow evening,men from different places will come,maybe we can find someone there" he said

I felt a light of chance open in my eyes

I smiled widely and hugged Louie

"Thank you" I thanked him and kissed his cheek

"Now lets fix you" he said eyeing me from head to toe

"get some rest too.I'll lend you a pajama.We can drink wine and plan our move tomorrow!"he excitedly said pulling me to his room

Its 9 pm the next day and here we are looking for people in the corner,I felt my chest roar and my thoughts explode

"Louie?"

"Yeah?" He replied wandering his eyes

"What if we don't find anyone?" I voiced one of my thoughts

His snapped his head towards me

"Trust me we will find somebody" he said with convincing eyes

I nodded unconvinced and eyed the people entering

"Shit!" I cursed hiding behind Louie seeing Fabian

Louie probably seen him to causing him to move and cover me more

"Oh...Andrea" he called
"What?" I asked while my forehead dipped on his back

"Mr.Salvador..." I peeked and saw a man walk with confidence,his green eyes showed wealth and pride

Enrique Salvador,a 29 years old billionaire known as one of the youngest high earning business mens

"Okay are you ready?" He asked pulling out of my hideout

"Okay what do I do?" I asked with out hesitation

I will not waste this chance!

"Okay I want you to walk and pretend to fall with your injured leg okay?and use sexy eyes like I taught you...let me see?"

I slightly squinted my eyes and looked at him and stared straight at him

"Okay good...now go" he said while he quicly fixed the tiny details on my hair

Like he said I walked and pretented to fall,he catched me allright but let go causing me to hurt my leg more and fall on the ground.Few eyes shifted to me as I lay there

"He is perfect and beautiful but apparently he's an asshole..." Louie said glaring at him while he helped me up

I looked at the man walk away feeling my chance shrink

I will not give up!
