Iris swiftly switched out of his clothes and into her own, now smelling of fabric softener, in the bathroom while she reviewed the maps, much to his distaste.

Looking at each one, she noticed that with every renovation the city got, more sections of the city were forgotten.

If a spell-room were to be built, it would need to be a room that was the minimum size and in a spot that even if someone were to find the maps and go snooping, they would miss it before they realized where it was, giving those the time they would need to escape.

Picking the maps up, she walked out of the bathroom and placed them on the table, one remaining in her hand. His sharp gaze shot to the papers.

He sighed before asking, "What are you doing with that last one?"

"I want the spell-room to be built in one of the rooms on this map. Memorize the maps before you burn them." Iris said as she began to walk out of the room.

Before she could open the door, he asked her, "Why don't we just keep them?"

"If you could get a hold of them, why wouldn't more of your kind be able to?" Iris told him as she opened the door and left the room. Before the door completely closed, she could here him swearing softly at her.

Nothing, no acts of demonic activity. Not so much as a high level of sin in the area. There were no strange activities in the news, there wasn't even an unusually distressed person. The city was just that, a city.

That was until she caught the scent as she stepped onto a side road. She felt the air around her split open. She felt it in her soul that the Living-Realm, at least in this city, had just opened.

Iris smiled as she pulled her hood up and made a quick left through the crowd of humans milling about in complete ignorance.

Iris chuckled as she felt the energy lead her to a school. It had been centuries since she had seen an Anerian school. She could see the drastic changes in the buildings, but it was still obviously a school.

She frowned, it was past eight in the evening. Students and teachers should have been home already. So, what was a demon doing in an empty school?

Iris pushed through the front doors into a dark and still hallway. She breathed in the air as she continued forward.

The strong, noxious scent of sulfur — the demon was near. She felt her blood sing as she walked briskly to where all of the hallways led. The demon was looking for someone, if a lone bag next to a locker was any indication.

She stopped before the door as she heard a low growl. "Where are you?"

It was such a thrilling sound that Iris's blood became a symphony, singing to the sound of danger.

She may have spent years away from her work but it did not dull her carnal instincts. The hunt and kill brought such a joy to her that Josephine and the other students believed she felt a sick lustful desire from it.

Iris couldn't deny their speculations. Though it may not be sexual, she felt something in her roar with pleasure as her magic sucked the demon's life-force. The kill of such things really was orgasmic.

Iris did not have time to savor the feelings. Yet, she felt herself slowly walking into the room, leaving the door open.

She may be a huntress, but she still felt the fear that attempted to paralyze her. She loved it. She waited in a dark corner of the large room, she could only guess that such large rooms in schools were new installations, for the demon to notice her.
