Harry Potter and the Disasters Of Love

Harry's POV:

Ginny looked beautiful. She was in a strapless blue dress that was tight in the middle and flowed out and ended just above her knee. Her hair was straight and fell to about halfway down her back. I just couldn't deny my feelings for her anymore... I was in love with her.

Luckily I hadn't seen Ron all day so I hadn't had to tell him for one that I was going to the dance with her and now how I was feeling about her. I hadn't really imagined that Ron would come to the dance after what Hermione had done to him yesterday so I was going to enjoy it while it lasted.

But I had seen Hermione tonight and she also looked beautiful. After what had happened last night and me finding her on the Marauder's Map in Draco's room I had decided not to persue it, but this morning when I woke up I did take another look at the map to see where she was and luckily she had returned to her own dormitory. I hadn't been able to speak to her all day, I was happy about that because I would know doubt have blurted out and asked her about what she was doing last night...

But I shouldn't be thinking about that now, I should be thinking about the girl that would be on my arm for the whole night! I felt like the luckiest man alive. We were dancing to some classical stuff whilst One Direction set up on the stage.

Everywhere I looked there were people we knew, having a great time, either as friends, as a couple and some people had just come by themselves for the fun.

I was really happy for Fred, George and Angelina. They were here as friends mainly, the boys still trying to impress Angelina because at some point she will have to make a choice between them, she can't keep one of them hanging, but the boys were still having a great time, not letting it get between their brotherly love for each other. During one song I even caught them dancing together.

Finally the classical dances finished and One Direction made their way on to the stage, I was really excited to finally hear their music for the first time.

They played the songs What Makes You Beautiful, Gotta Be You, One Thing, More Than This and Everything About You. Me and Ginny had a good laugh trying to dance in a way that wasn't embarrassing for the quick ones, which was difficult. Their music was good and perfect for Valentine's Day, I could tell why the girls loved them.

It then came to Moments, where they invited their dates on stage. Ginny was giggling at Luna and Emily, who looked nervous yet very excited at the same time. The music started to play and most of the song seemed to flash in a blur, Ginny's hands wrapped around my neck, her fingers exploring my hair, my hands holding her tightly, her and our foreheads pressed together. At the last chorus of the song I followed my instinct and leaned in to kiss her gently. It lasted mere seconds but it was beautiful and a Moment of hopefully many that I would never forget...

The One Direction boys and their dates greeted us after addressing the audience for the final time. Ginny instantly left me to talk to Emily, Luna, Kate and Cho all of them 'fangirling' or something along those lines. Me and the rest of the boys greeted each other and Louis hugged me, congratulating me and then winking and looking at Ginny. I blushed.

"Harry, I would like you to meet Danielle, my girlfriend," Liam said, without taking his eyes off her and planting a kiss on the end of her nose. She giggled and nodded at me in acknowledgment.

"Nice to meet you," I replied but then turned to the rest of the boys, giving Liam and Danielle some time alone. I looked around the Hall and saw Hermione sitting at the table, Draco going to get drinks, at least he was treating her right.

We all congregated back together and we all stood next to our dates but we didn't really know what to say, we were all far too loved up, apart from Cho and Harry because Cho wandered off at one point but I didn't seem to notice. Her every move had once captured my eyes, but now it is only Ginny.

Louis and Emily had their foreheads pressed together, kissing each other every so often and whispering, Zayn and Kate had walked away together, holding hands, to kiss in private, whereas Niall held Luna against him, swaying from side to side, the heels of her feet against his toes. The classical music ended and I took Ginny to the dance floor, along with the other boys.

The bleach blond hair of Draco caught my eye, walking towards Hermione with their drinks, took him long enough. But I seemed to recognise his walk... It wasn't like his, but like someone else's...

But as Ed Sheeran started to play 'So' I turned to Ginny, the lyrics of the chorus reminding me of her:

"You're so cool,

You're so beautiful"

We all continued to dance, whilst Ed continued to sing. He played every guitar because he said it is his Valentine's Day with them, which we laughed about. Also Harry went up on stage and started to play with Ed's hair and stroking his guitars, Ron would've been up there too if he was here. He sang "Little Bird", "Kiss Me", "Give Me Love", "Where We Land" and "Fall". The songs were so beautiful, I couldn't believe some people could have such skill to write like that. I noticed Hermione and Draco dancing disjointedly around the dance floor, something definitely was not right.

Ed finished his last song "Firefly" but me and Ginny hardly noticed, we kissed and swayed and kissed some more. Ginny looked over my shoulder and frowned, "Harry, what in the world is happening? I think I'm seeing things,"

I spun around, with her still in my arms, seeing two Dracos... One wearing Ron's dress robes. I saw Hermione and one of the Draco's faces go from shock to disapproval in a second.

I let go of Ginny and ran towards them as one of the Draco's hair turned from blond to ginger...

Getting really excited now... It is coming to the end of the story soon :'( but I have a sequel coming up afterwards :)
