A few months later....

It's winter now and it's the last day of school. I'll be back in the hell hole I call home tomorrow." (Y/N)! Wanna hang out?". I turned around and saw Isaac with some of In2It members. In2It is a group of friends from our academy. Inside In2It, there are other groups like TRCNG, EXO and STRAY KIDS. There are more, but that's too many. For your information, I'm the only female in the group.

"Sorry, guys. I have to go pack. I'm going back 'home' tomorrow." I said. Some of them looked at me with pitiful eyes." Why did you quote 'home'? I thought you loved your house." Isaac said." Things changed, Isaac. My parents are fighting every single day, and whenever they fight, it ends up as a battle of power. And from what my little brother said yesterday, they're going to finish each other off tomorrow." I said.

"That's really bad." He said. I sighed and nodded." I don't have time for them, but I'm forced to." I said." You can stay over at our secret hangout. Like, you can just tell your family that you couldn't make it." Wooyeop suggested." I'd love it, Wooyeop, but if I say I can't make it, they're going to search for me until they find me." I said." How about I bring you home?".

The next day....

"Are you sure about this? It's been ages since I saw your parents." I said, worried." Don't worry. I'm sure they miss you." He said. We knocked on the door and the door opened." (Y/N)! Isaac! Come on in." Mrs. Voo said. We smiled and went in." You can sleep in the guest room." Isaac said." Or maybe, in my room like how we used to?" He whispered in my ear. I blushed and hit his arm.

"We're not even dating." I whispered back." So, how long has it been since you started dating? 6 years?" Mr. Voo asked. I looked at Isaac with a shocked face. He just scratched his nape." Just tag along." Isaac whispered to me." It's been around 7 years, I guess?" I said, kinda awkward." So, is there a reason why you're here? I'm sure that your parents would've called saying you would be here." Mrs. Voo said.

"Well-" Isaac cut me off." (Y/N) just wanted to see me more since she would definitely miss me again during the long holidays." He said, hugging my waist. I blushed and just nodded.

Isaac's P.O.V

I love it that she's still blushing because of me." Alright, you two lovebirds. Go unpack. Dinner will be ready soon." Mom said and we nodded. We went upstairs to my room." OK, how the heck are we going to keep this up?" (Y/N) asked me." Why don't we just act like how we used to? Like, I'm sure that we can work this out." I said." Work this out? Work this out, Isaac? Really?" She asked, sounding shocked.

"I have a boyfriend, for God's sake, Isaac." She said. Now it was my turn to be shocked." Why didn't you tell me?" I asked." Because I thought that you didn't need to know." She answered. Now I feel mad." I'm your friend, (Y/N). I deserve to know." I said." You're my ex, Isaac." She whispered. She glared straight into my eyes." And we made up. We're friends now." I said." I never said that." She said.

We glared at each other." Wow, so you mean that you don't trust me on this anymore?" I asked." Not that I don't trust you, but-" I cut her off." But what? I understand if you don't love me anymore. I'm just a chapter in your book." I said." Can you just listen to me?" She asked." Why should I when you don't listen to me?" I asked. She looked down at the ground. I went into the bathroom.

Later that night....

"You sleep on the bed. I'll sleep on the ground." I said as I took an extra pillow and blanket." No need. Just sleep beside me." (Y/N) said." Oh dear, why should I? You have a 'boyfriend'. If he finds out, he'll think you're cheating." I said." He knows I'm close with you. He knows our past. He's fine with it." She said." Just go to bed, (Y/N)." I said.

She pouted and I felt my heart beating really fast. What is wrong with me?! She's taken, but why do I feel like she's mine? I laid down onto the thin mattress I laid out and covered myself in the blanket. I slowly fell asleep.

Your P.O.V

As Isaac fell asleep, I started reading a book. Suddenly, I heard thunder. I whimpered against the loud sound. I tried to go to sleep, but the thunder continued to scare me. I was already crying. I decided to sleep beside Isaac. I laid down beside him and got under the covers. Isaac was fast asleep. I leaned into his chest, feeling really scared.

I started to remember the times where Isaac hugged me and sang me to sleep during storms like this. Suddenly, I felt an arm around my waist." Go to sleep... I'm here for you...". I looked up at Isaac and saw him looking down at me. I hugged his torso tight and he chuckled." Goodnight, my (Y/N)..." He said as I slipped in and out of consciousness.

Soon, I was fast asleep.

The next morning....

I woke up and saw a clothed chest. I looked up and saw Isaac smiling down at me. I blushed and hid my face in his chest." Why can't you just be mine?" He asked. I could hear the disappointment in his voice. I softly smiled." Well, I'll be honest with you. I lied about the boyfriend thing." I said." Why did you gave to lie?" He asked.

I looked at him. He looked confused." I thought that it would make you jealous, but you became mad instead." I said, pouting. He chuckled." Well, for your information, I was jealous. Who wouldn't be jealous? You're like, the prettiest girl I've ever seen and all. You're like, the most perfect girl I've ever met." He said, making me blush.

I hit his chest lightly. He smiled." So, will you be mine?" He asked." And you just had to ask that in bed?" I asked, noticing that we were on the bed." Well, why not?" He asked, chuckling. I shook my head." You're so foolish, but I love it." I said." So is that a yes?" He asked and I nodded." That's good." He chuckled.
