Tamed {Aomine x Reader}

Aomine's POV:

The misunderstanding has been solved, but now there is another issue. (Y/N) still won't talk to Kagami and her dad. It's been a couple of days and she is still insisting that she doesn't need to talk to them now. She acts all happy and cheerful around me, but when things calm down, I can see that she is thinking about them.

Kagami has shown up a couple of times to my apartment, trying to talk things out. I'm ready to forgive and forget, after all, it was just a misunderstanding. However, she still doesn't talk to Kagami. The only thing he gets from her is "You should consider yourself lucky that Daiki isn't like you. He won't punch you right at the front door without hearing you out!"

Kagami has apologized more times than I can count on that and I've already told him it's fine. (Y/N) on the other hand, is finding it hard to forgive the people closest to her who she felt like they betrayed her since they wouldn't listen to her about anything.

"Shortcake... I think it's time to have a talk."

"About what Daiki?" Don't act clueless...

"About Kagami and your dad... They learned their lesson. Let's just go talk to them ok?"

"No."

"(Y/N)... What if your dad leaves? Do you want him to leave with the way things are? What if something happens? It's better to fix things while you still can!"

"Why are you on their side?! After what they did to you! I thought, later on, I would have to be the one to ask you to forgive them!" Cause I can see how it's affecting you...

"He's my best friend... The moment I saw him feeling bad about it, I was already halfway to forgiving him. Plus the other person in question is your dad, how am I suppose to get his approval if I don't forgive him?"

"Well! You don't need his approval anymore! I approve and that's enough!" She is really holding a grudge!

"His approval is important to me. Look, just think about it ok? Time isn't always on our side. I don't have any siblings but Kagami has somehow been like a brother to me. I can't imagine losing him. You might be losing a real brother, a real family."

I get up from the couch and head to the room. It was already late and she has been sleeping less and less. No matter what I do, she keeps tossing and turning at night. I could do what she did and plan a secret meeting, but I feel like she would kill me before solving anything. Maybe it will work once I ease her into the idea!

(Y/N)'s POV:

I don't get why he is so persistent about this! If anything, he should be more mad and distant from them than I am! Who knew his soft side was this big! However, I must admit... When he said about missing my chance to fix things... It did make me think. I mean don't get me wrong! I do want to fix things! But every time I see Onii-chan's face I remember he punched him without giving him a chance, and when I see Father... I can't help but recall him not listening to me or giving me or Daiki a chance! He even wanted to take me all the way back to the US!! Wonder how forgiving Daiki would feel if he knew that!?

This entire thing started because of my stupid birthday. So I guess I do want to fix things before that. I don't want to ruin Daiki's surprise for me. I head off to bed and see Daiki already asleep. I can tell he's worried about me, but I keep telling him I'm fine. it's summer vacation! A lot of people lose sleep during that time! Augh! This is so annoying! Can't this be over already!?

I wake up the next day and hear voices in the living room. Do we have guests? That's weird. As I get closer I start hearing their conversation. "Look, don't worry about it, just give her time. I'm getting to her step by step. She is almost there. Just be a bit more patient ok?" That's Daiki, who is he talking to though?
