I WANTED TO SAY SOMETHING:

"I'm sorry," or perhaps "fuck you." I wanted to say "I let you in and you abused that position of trust." But no no no. I wanted to say, "kiss me, please, please, we can forget everything."

Or maybe, maybe I just wanted to say, "I forgive you. You're not sorry, but I still forgive you."

I JUST WANTED TO TALK TO HIM ONE LAST TIME. To hear his voice and to hear the way he said hello as he picked up the phone. I wanted to hear him say that he loved me and these past few months without me have been hard for him to even forget about me.

I wanted to hear him say he missed me, and he wanted to come back, because God, thats what I wished for.

I'm fucking ridiculous for feeling this way, yet I just couldn't seem to let him go.

I called. I called one last time to hear is voice. One last time. Maybe now I'll finally be able to let go.
