Sebastian is sleeping soundly on our sofa. It's three in the morning and I couldn't sleep because I drank three cups of coffee during breakfast because I want to feel energized for the pageant. He really looks tired and I can't imagine what he's been through.
I grabbed the first aid kit and took out the ointment for rashes. I sat on the edge of the sofa and put ointment on Sebastian's hands. If he didn't become my friend, maybe this didn't happen. I am bad luck to him but blaming my own self will do no good and I'll end up being depress.
"Raven..." He murmurs but his eyes are shut. Is he sleep-talking or maybe he's dreaming of me? I shook my head. What am I thinking? Why would he dream of me? My face probably causes a nightmare.
"I'm right here." I muttered. He opened his eyes and grabbed my hand which pulled me towards him. I ended up lying beside him. He plays with my hair and even his eyes look tiring, he stares at me. I touch his rash filled face and pinched it. To my surprise, he didn't feel the pain.
"Sorry I couldn't make it to the pageant. Colton was playing dirty tricks on me." His face is filled with rage of anger. I guess he's replaying inside his mind on what Colton did to him. The only person who is sorry is me.
"Samantha did some dirty tricks on me too."
"She won didn't she?" I looked at him and smiled dryly. I couldn't hide my disappointment. Samantha won because it's her game that we're playing. After the pageant, I overheard two judges talking in the backstage that they were paid by Samantha. She paid them to make her the winner. It was then I realize that she did do everything to bring me down. She was being selfish and she shoves it to my face that I lose and she won.
"Yeah she won." I sigh. I've disappointed Cecilia. I've disappointed myself.
"To me I think you're the winner... because you won my heart." He winks at me and I pinch his cheek once again and he groans in pain. I never thought he'll say overrated cheesy pick-up lines on me.
"Just go back to sleep already."
"I'll sleep if you'll sleep beside me." He hugged me tight, making me unable to stand up. "Let's be like this until the sun comes up."
"What a great idea. My adoptive parents will definitely be delighted to see us tangled in one another especially Dan." I sarcastically said.
"On the second thought, go to your room." He releases me and I chuckled. He sure doesn't want Dan to be mad at him.
The sun came up and we were all in the dining room munching the food that Stella prepared for us. Even with his mouth is full, Sebastian keeps on talking. He explained it to us on why he wasn't able to make it on the pageant because my adoptive parents demand an explanation. At the end of his explanation, Dan was really mad and couldn't believe that someone had done horrible things to Sebastian who is starting to warm his heart. He tells Sebastian if Colton does something foolish to him again, he should call him on speed dial. From a surgeon to a nurse, Stella puts ointment on Sebastian's rashes even though he's not yet finished with his food. It was a funny scene.
Dan insisted that I deserved to win and Samantha's answer doesn't even make sense to him which Stella agrees. They also shared to Sebastian on how Stephan became my partner during the production number which made him choke his bacon and made my adoptive parents worry for him.
"Dear boy, are you alright?" Stella asked.
"I'm fine." Sebastian takes a sip of his orange juice and cough. "Since when did you and Sir Anderson become close?" He asked me.
I blushed and was hesitant to answer. Sebastian crosses his arm and he taps his foot on the floor, eager to hear my answer. Whoa, what's with him? He should be glad that someone took his place during his absence.
