Now that we have went over the system, lets go more in depth. If you don't know, cells are the tiny particles that make up the entire human body. For example, your skin is made of many cells. A normal cell is smaller than the size of a small pin. That is very small. But what types of cells are in the Excretory system? Well, the types of cells are the Canal Cells,  Duct Cells, Pore Cells, and Gland Cells. A pore cell is a protein-lined call that regulates the transportation of molecules between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. (By the way, a nucleus is the brain of the cell and cytoplasm is a jelly-like substance that separates all of the parts of the cell and keeps everything in place in the cell.) A gland cell secrete their products through a hole onto an outer surface of the body, such as the skin or the gastrointestinal tract, which is from your throat to your bottom. A duct cell is a cell that lines the pancreatic duct and is responsible for production of bicarbonate-rich secretion, which in short terms, is a mucus coating that lines your tummy and keeps bad chemicals from coming out that dissolve the food you eat and other chemicals. And Lastly, a canal cell acts as tubes to filter out salts and fluids. Up above, you can see the model of the cell and the black circle is the nucleus, and the 2 pink tubes are the canals.
