Amanda and I walked our way to the school yard feeling almost everyone staring at us. It definetely felt weird and awkward but not something I would be terrified of. The bell rang. Everybody gathered around and went straight into the classrooms without delays. We looked at each other while rushing into the building and after 5 minutes or so, we finally found the headmaster's office and asked for help in order to find our new classrooms.
A kind teacher offered to help Amanda and the headmaster offered to help me. We said goodbye to each other with puppy eyes. I'm serious I could see the terror in her brown-greenish eyes. I started shaking like a crazy person and the headmaster noticed it, great you're literally acting like a total loser in front of people you just met Y/N, I thought. We were walking and I everybody stared at me like I'm an alien. WTF is wrong? Do I have something on my face b*tch? Why are they looking at me like I'm soooo different? Oh yes I forgot I'm a new student, I AM DIFFERENT when it comes to looks.
I realised I've reached the classroom, when the headmaster called Mrs. Kim outside to tell her about me.
"Hello Y/N it's so nice to meet you! I'm Mrs. Kim and I'll be your teacher for this year." she said with a cute smile on her face. At least she seems nice!"Please wait outside and when I call you, enter the classroom and greet your new classmates, okay?"
"Yes thank you"
WHAT? I HAVE TO TALK TO THEM? I HAVE TO GREET THEM? NO F*CKING WAY! THESE WERE THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN STARING AT ME LIKE...10 MINUTES AGO. I have to think what I'm going to say!
Well, as soon as I said that Mrs. Kim came outside and told me to come in. SHIT.
I come in and everyone for some reason clapped and bowed. I did the same thing cause this is what Korean people do to show respect. I stood there, took a deep breath and smiled.
"Hello, my name is Y/N and I came all the way here from the USA. I'm half American and half Korean, I really hope you'll get to know me better and luckily, like me as a person. Ermmm that's all I guess." I said, bowed again and turned to look at the teacher.
She smiled and told me "Nice to meet you Y/N please sit next to Yoongi, the kid that's almost asleep." after that everyone laughed. I cannot blame him he's relatable.
I sat next to him, put on my glasses and take my notebooks out to pay attention to what the teacher was saying. A good first impression is always a smart move.
Around 30 minutes have passed and I can still feel eyes on me. I'm not quite sure if it's just on my head but it's annoying. I decided to turn around to where I could feel the eyes coming from and I see a boy, the "nerd" of the class staring at me with smiling eyes. Wait what? Why is he still staring even though I stare back? It felt like he was staring into my soul.
The bell rang. This means break aka meeting my sister outside and tell her everything. As soon as I step outside to find her I see her waving at me from far away. Well she was with another girl, probably her new friend, and I instantly get the signal which is 'don't go she's making new friends. Shit. Thanks Amanda you're such a nice big sister. #not
I jumped literally 5 meters when someone slightly tapped my right shoulder. I turn around and I see a girl around my height, with long light brown hair and a cute smile.
"Hi I'm Joanna we're in the same class and I can clearly see that you're alone. May I stay with you?" she said still having a cute bunny smile.
"Oh..hi..right. Ermm yes nice to meet you!" I said.
"How's school so far? Do you like it? Have you met anyone beside me?"
"To be honest with you, nope. I'm here for almost and hour and it feels so weird, I can feel eyes all over me and it's creeping the f*ck out of me. Oops sorry I swear a lot." we both laughed shyly after what I said.
