"The allusion toward Hamlet's suicide contemplation in this scene is truly a pivotal point in the work. Read these lines to yourself one more time for the allowance of true appreciation and comprehension."
The door cracks open and a girl in a black crop top and floral pencil skirt slips in. She sits next to a girl in the middle of the lecture hall and begins whispering to her as the professor continues speaking.
Riiiiinnng, riiinng, riiiiiiiiiinnnng
"Hello, Amelia Slunder speaking. Who is this?"
"Excuse me."
"Ah. Yes, I did call earlier," says Amelia into the phone.
"Phones are to be shut off in the lecture hall. Wait. You aren't even one of my students. What is the meaning of this?"
Amelia replies, "I came seeking my sister's advice on a very important subject."
"And what would that subject be?"
"Whether I am prepared for my meeting today or not."
Amelia's sister breaks out of her trance of embarrassment and cuts in, "We are so sorry to be interrupting the lecture Professor Wilter. My sincerest apologies for Amelia's behavior. We will see ourselves out."
And with that they left the lecture room while continuing to bicker in soft voices.
