The Challenge| Erik Killmonger Story

Shuri and T'Challa took Juju with them to Wakanda while Erik and I flew out with Fury and the crew.  I rested my head back in the chair and tried not to think about how Juju must feel. Natasha sat across from us reading a book. Fury was walking around the ship somewhere.  Erik was fast asleep with his mouth wide open. I draped my jacket over him and went to look for Fury.
"We need to talk," Natasha said from behind me. I continued walking in the hallways passing labs and containers. I was whipped around and pulled by my wrist.
"What?" I demanded. Nat's face was pinched into a scowl.
"About not making your wedding-"
"Is this what this is about? I thought you were going to berate me for having a child," I laughed. Nat gave a nervous laugh.
"So, they didn't..." she trailed off
"They did to stop us from having kids but...I sort of fought my way out of that process," I said. We were silent for a moment.  Small trails of past memories began to seep back in but I shook them off.
"Do you know where Fury is?" I asked trying to change the subject.
"Right where I need to be,"
I turned around and Fury came walking down the hallway with Captain America.
"Hey Cap," Nat said walking away.
"Agent Romanov."
"Steve this is Leannaone of our top spies that are accompanying us on the mission," Fury mentioned. Steve just stood there silently and nodded his head. I looked at Fury and he just shrugged his shoulders.
"Well, I'm going to be getting started with the mission Fury," I said turning back around. Someone grabbed my wrist tightly. I turned back around and Steve was clenching on tight.
"What is wrong with you?" I shouted.
"Where is he?"
"Who?"
"You know who," he said between clenched teeth. I racked my brain for anything but nothing came to mind. Suddenly, I was whipped around, arm in my back.
"His name is Bucky...Bucky Barnes-"
"Aye man! You better back the fuck up and let my wife go!" Erik said jogging up the hallway. Steve let me go and I grabbed my wrist. He walked up to Erik and I tried to step in between them but Erik pushed me behind him.
"You got something you want to say?" Erik said. They were inches apart.
"Not to you," Steve deliberately looked back at me and then back to Erik.
"Whatever you say to her you say to me," Erik turned to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.
"Whenever you lose your body guard Agent then come talk to me," Steve said. We both turned around this time. Erik pulled his fist back and then knocked Steve out with one punch. I kicked him in the side for good measure. He came all the way out of pocket.
"I'll be back in the lab," Fury said. I forgot he was still there. Erik and I walked away and back to our seats.
"Clear out!" Erik yelled. Everyone that was sitting there hurriedly ran out. We sat down and looked at each other. For two seconds we just stared until we both started laughing.
"I couldn't believe that shit man," Erik laughed loudly.
"Me either, man you knocked out Captain America!" I said shaking his arm.
"Yeah, thanks to these vibranium rings," he examined them in the light.
"He was going on about Bucky."
"We knew that was going to happen...did you tell him what happened?"
"No."
"Are you going to?" Erik yawned.
"I don't know."
