You were trying out different kinds of foods that Steven had supplied you with, "Normally Amethyst would be here, but I haven't seen her in a while." Steven explained briefly.
"I haven't seen Amber in a while too, I hope she's doing all right." You admitted out loud, it was currently dark out and you couldn't help but glance at the stars.
The only thing that struck your mind at that moment was Homeworld, it seemed so far away to you at that moment.
"Homeworld..." You muttered quietly."Do you still miss that place? Even a little bit? I know Homeworld was bad, but even Pearl liked the spaceships and stuff..." Steven rambled slightly.
"I-I guess... I had a friend back there, the reason I didn't want to join the Crystal Gems a few thousand years ago was because they shattered her." Your throat seemed scratchy and swollen whilst saying those words. You hardly thought of her, here on Earth.
"But-but the Crystal Gems don't just shatter people!" Steven protested, obviously baffled and unable to comprehend your short story.
"It was a Bismuth, I can't believe she just-" You couldn't speak of it any longer, there was no point teaching sense to Steven.
"(Y/N)! Come back!" Steven yelled as you walked outside.
Humans should be capable of understanding the loss of a dear friend, shouldn't they? This was unfair, this was stupid, this made you regret everything at that moment.
In your frustration you decided to walk it out, after a stroll through the old woods that Amber had showed you around, with a few turns and twists it was completely silent. Until you heard a branch snap very loudly, it was unfortunate to whoever else was in the woods with you. Or whatever else was in the woods with you.You knew I'd be dumb to say 'who's there?', so you went low and stayed silent. What you say before your eyes was baffling, eye-boggling, something you couldn't comprehend at the first few moments.
You saw Amber with the shards of a purple gem in her hand, you stood up cautiously. "What did you do?" You looked at the small gem.
"I-I... she was getting in the way, (Y/N)." Amber's tone changed from guilty to a stern tone, "She saw me contacting Homeworld and was going to tell the others! I-I'm sorry but-"
"You were contacting Homeworld so early?!" You face-palmed yourself, a human gesture that you had learned early on. "Tell me one thing though, did it feel good?"
"Shattering her?" Amber looked to the ground.
"Did it feel good to shatter her?" You persisted, with a close to mono tone voice.
"...Yes." Amber admitted, picking up all the shards and throwing them into a pond.
You stared in disbelief, but grabbed Amber's hand. "Listen, we will not speak of this... okay?"
Amber seemed like she was actually going to cry, but nodded firmly. You put a hand on her should, and reasurred her for a small while. Then you turned back towards the exit of the woods.
"How is Watermelon Tourmaline going to feel about this?" You asked, mostly to yourself. Amber was walking back towards the temple, everything seemed grey at that moment.

??? POV
I was doodling on a piece of paper, "art" was very interesting to me and I enjoyed it very much. Yesterday Amber had told me of her interest in music, I couldn't help but check it out for myself. The most popular music for 2018 was not to my liking, and was very "ghetto" as the internet humans would say.
I turned towards my little prisoner, "Did anything happen?" I asked.
"Yes, but I have a feeling you would rather not know." My prisoner spoke from behind the electricity.
"Tell me, you're lucky that I saved you. You could be stuck in that bubble again for all I care!" I gritted my teeth.
"No need for yelling, but Amber has shattered the Amethyst and has decided to keep it from you." My prisoner spoke calmly.
"That freaking pebble! I used to think she actually mattered, you know. Now she's ran off with the Crystal Gems and crap, when is Captain Emerald going to get here?!" I yelled.
"She still does not know of your intentions, master." My prisoner stated.
"Well obviously! I swear I'd shatter every one of them, but I gotta hold it in just a bit longer." I breathed in and out, and turned back to my prisoner. "What, now you decide to shut your mouth?"
"I simply do not wish to disturb you, master." My prisoner seemed a bit nervous.
"Oh whatever, I get it, you hate me and everything. Don't even try to hide it, as long as you obey me I won't hurt you." I scoffed.
"You promised me freedom if I swore my loyalty to you, master." My prisoner seemed slightly surprised.
"You are far from being loyal." I growled.
I could hear the bugs of the Earth world chirp and sing, it was horrible. It was just another reminder that I was stuck on this horrible planet.
"Perhaps you should take a break from Amber?" My prisoner suggested.
"I don't care if I'm near her or not, I just need to manipulate her enough so that I can use her." I explained once more.
"May I ask what you plan on using her for?" My prisoner asked.
"I'm planning on getting out of here, she has connections to Homeworld. I'm definitely ready to get off and destroy this human-infested planet.
"You aren't even going to use the resources?" My prisoner raised an eyebrow.
"I have plenty of resources to bring back." I wasn't lying, over the past few years I had been grabbing more and more material, I had also been getting more and more tired those days.
"I hope we can both get out of here soon, I've come to grow bored of this place." Pink Sapphire, my prisoner shrugged.
