The magazine releases issues on a bi-monthly basis. Authors are required to submit their work to the proofreader 6 days prior to the issue release. The proofreader then cleans out any typos and chooses to either submit the work to Nick Uskoski or returns it to the writer with recommendations if they feel the chapter needs to be potentially altered or fixed. All works must be submitted one day prior to issue release date so they can be posted on time. If a contributor misses a deadline they are given one warning. A second offence merits termination of serialization.
Authors may work out individual schedules with their editors outside of the guidelines. If an editor only requires a day of proofreading, they can give more time for writing. If writers want more time editing they can arrange this with their editor. All submissions must still make it to Nick one day before issue release at least.
