Sin City wasn't made for you
Angels like you 🥀

"Get out!" The cab driver yelled stopping the car at my location. I jumped from the sound of his voice banging against the closed in car obliging to his order. I got my bags out the trunk looking in my purse for my wallet. Once I found it I gave him a fifty dollar bill expecting my change back but instead I heard the tires screech and black smoke blinded me as he took off. I coughed hard swatting my hands in the air trying to remove the black smoke from my eyesight. I looked shocked down the street to see he wasn't even there. Catching a attitude but quickly getting over it I look down at my feet at the large and heavy bags filled with clothes and other things sighing on how I was gonna get them up the stairs. I bend over carry them in already having the key to my apartment I bit my lip looking at the stairs in front of me. I was on the fifth floor and there was no elevators in this building at all.

I saw a man walk by me but more of a brush of the shoulders to get by me go up the stairs. Almost stumbling on my feet I called to him for his attention. "Hey uh excuse me!" My voice echoed through the bottom floor. He stopped turning around looking at me. The man seemed to be pissed about something having a straw from a lollipop or something lodged in between his mouth. His silence intimidated me long enough for his long stares to make me feel very uncomfortable in my own skin. "Can you help me with my bags please I'm on the fifth floor I just moved here from-"

"I don't care where you came from and I won't care cause I'm not helping you little mut! Find your own damn way up the stairs!" His voice sounded like something out of hell and it made me grip my purse tighter than to begin with. The man turned back around stomping his ways upstairs leaving me by myself in the lobby again. "What a jerk." I groaned putting the bags over my shoulders hauling my way up the stairs. When I finally got to my floor I was exhausted, sweat painted my face and my legs felt so sore. "Guess I don't need to do any squats tomorrow." I placed my hands on my lower back leaning back to get the small knots. I looked on my set of keys for the one specific one which told me what room I had.

"E15, where's that at?" I talked to myself on a regular basis looking down two hallways that go in different directions. I looked at the signs next to each door going down the right hallway kicking my bag as I go since I didn't have enough in me to put it back on my tired shoulders. I finally found my place unlocking the door I swing it open hearing the creaking as it widen for me to see. It didn't look half as bad as I thought it was gonna look compared to how creepy the lobby was, I placed my bags on the hard wooden floor hearing it drop. I walked around with the key still in my hands looking at the place where I'll call home.

I turned on a dust covered lamp next to a couch that came with the place. Screaming I backed away seeing roaches come from their hiding spreading out into different places in the room. My skin crawled when I lift up my shoe to see I stepped on one. I was gonna have a pretty hard working day with cleaning this place. It looked sad and depressed just like this city and the people. I searched for anything that could assist me on cleaning what I would call a living hell. I found brooms, cleaning liquids, mops, and dustpans. It seems whomever that lived here didn't think much about taking any of their stuff cause I even found clothes in the closets.

I brung all of them in the middle of the room going to one of my bags searching for my bluetooth speaker. Playing a song randomly from my playlist I began to get to work. I started off in the kitchen cleaning dirty dishes and cabinets that had old mole. I mopped the floor after redecorating the kitchen and cleaning it. I maneuver my way to the living room dusting off everything sneezing most of the time. And every-time I seen a roach I used a fly hitter to kill it instead of using my shoe. Half way done with my apartment was next on my list was the bathroom. I hold in my lunch as I seen what could of possibly been the worst thing known to man.
