Psycho Path

It's been an hour. Mikey sighs again, for the hundredth time probably that night. He's been waiting in his dad's car and grows anxious as the time passes by. His father would start to worry if he's out for too long. Mikey would look around from time to time, looking for you and Gerard's presence. Suddenly, a double tap on the car's window is heard, Gerard's standing outside. Mikey is a bit surprised to look at Gerard's new fiery red hair before he unlocks the door and gets out of the car. For a moment there, they just stare at each other, not knowing what to do. So, Mikey's the one to break the silence. "Hey." To his surprise, Gerard lunges forward, giving Mikey a big hug. Mikey is a bit shock while Gerard keeps his tight hug. Suddenly, Mikey feels a few drops of tears on his shoulder. Gerard is breaking down in the hug and his body starts to shake slightly. Mikey couldn't stand to look at his brother like this. He slowly puts his arms around him, hugging him back. This makes Gerard cries harder.

"I-I'm sorry...!" The words escape Gerard's mouth though they are inaudible. Mikey is almost on the verge of crying as well. "Shh. It's okay. It's in the past." Mikey soothes his brother by rubbing Gerard's back a bit. Mikey knows that this isn't the best time to be mad at Gerard for his crime. What he's oblivious about is the fact that Gerard is not a normal person anymore. But Mikey pulls away from the hug too soon. Gerard pouts a bit. "Where's Y/n?" Mikey asks. As if on cue, you come out of the car that you and Gerard have been sharing the whole journey. Gerard has parked the car a bit further from Mikey's. No wonder Mikey didn't notice both of your arrival. Upon seeing Mikey, you waste no time, so you run towards him, and fall into his arms. Gerard just stands there, watching both of you.

Tears are falling down your cheeks as you embrace him. These past few days, you've been crying out of sadness. But this time, it feels different. It kinda feels like tears of happiness. Perhaps it's because you're meeting Mikey after so long not going back home. "Mikeeeyyyyy." You cry out his name, voice a bit muffled as you hug him, but it came out more like a laughter. Yepp, you are cry-laughing. (It's possible okay XP) Mikey chuckles a bit at your action. He strokes your short hair as you lift up your face to look at him. "Hey there little pie." You grin so wide like you've never before. Mikey loves to give you cute nicknames out of nowhere. By this time, Gerard walks away and starts a cigarette. "Look at you, going around with that new hairstyle. You look good with it!" Mikey gives you a comment that lifts up your mood a bit, after so much stress from the days before.

That's the Mikey that you've known since you guys were kids. He always knows how to cheer you up and what to say regardless the circumstances. He isn't the type of person who would put pressure especially when he's aware of how stressful the situation you are in. "Gerard told me... that you need me. Is everything okay Y/n?" Your smile fades away as Mikey ask you. Mikey quirk an eyebrow when your face suddenly fell. You steal a quick glance at Gerard. He seems busy smoking. "Mikey,... there's something you need to know." The seriousness in your tone makes Mikey feels nervous. "W-what is it?" At this point, his voice is more like a whisper. "..w-well Gerard...he..he....." You try your best but unable to make a complete sentence. So Mikey pulls you closer while his face inches to yours. A blush creeps onto your cheeks at the too little gap. But that's not what you should worry about right now. "H-he...he's insane." You finally said it. Mikey's eyes widen as he heard that. He's about to open his mouth and says something, but Gerard cuts him off. "What were you guys talking about?" Gerard approaches both of you. One of his hand is now on your waist, as he stands beside you. You keep quiet but feels uncomfortable upon the contact. "Uh..... Y-y/n was just asking about..uh...how I've been doing..here." Mikey tries his best.

But then, something clicks in your mind. You've been dying to know how other people have been doing after what 'befell' Ray, especially your mom. So you ask Mikey "My mom... h-how's she?" Mikey's face turns from nervousness to something that display.. sympathy you guess? "Mrs. L/n... w-well she.. umm..." You grab both of Mikey's arms. "She what Mikey?!" Your heartbeats are getting faster as you wait for his answer. "S-she...." Then Mikey sighs, before continue "The people in town are hating her. A-and the Toro's... they hate your family so much and blame you guys for what happened to Ray." You fall down onto your knees. Tears are streaming down your cheeks. You couldn't hold back the sobbing and choking anymore. You let out a scream, in attempt to let all the pain inside fade away. But they are not. At the moment, there's only one thing you could think of.

You rise up to your feet, and say "I wanna see her." Hearing this makes Gerard a bit mad. He fiercely throws his cigarette and grabs your arm. "Are you nuts?!! People are gonna put us in jail!!!" Gerard hisses at you. "No, they are not! They are going to put YOU alone there!!" you brace yourself to say that to his face. Gerard's face twitches in annoyance, and with a swift move, he slaps you hard on the cheek. The effect sends you down on the ground. It hurts as much as the slap from before. "Gerard!! What the f*ck?!!" Mikey said and quickly kneels down beside you, taking your face in his hand and inspecting the bruise that is forming. "We must leave now. It's not safe to stay for too long." Said Gerard while looking around. "I'm not going!! Not until I see my mom!" You yell at him, hand on top of Mikey's hand that is on your cheek. "I'm not leaving either. I couldn't bear to see our parents broken hearted again." Mikey says while his back is facing Gerard since he's too focus on your face.

Both of you are pushing Gerard to his limit. Gerard grunts in anger and pulls out the gun from his back pocket, and points it towards Mikey's head. "MIKEY!!!" you scream to notify Mikey and warn him about it. But it's too late. Gerard hits him with the gun on the back of Mikey's head. Mikey blacks out and falls into your arms. "W-why Gerard?!" You ask him, slightly sobbing. Gerard looks confused as he puts both of his hands in his hair and messes them. "Look what you did again Y/n!!" Again, he's saying as if you are the one encouraging him to do all these. But Gerard is not wasting any more time. He just thought about running away from there.

He lifts his brother and carries him to the back seat of his car. Then he goes to the back and search for something in the boot. You just watch him as he takes out some rope, then return back to where Mikey is laying, and tie up his hands.You are speechless and become numb. He closes the door, and locks his eyes on yours. He grabs your hand and shoves you into the front seat. He slams the door close, and quickly moves to the driver seat. The car roars as he starts the engine, and the three of you are now leaving (hometown).
