Y/N POV

I stare down at the city lights from my perch in the hills, they flicker on and off. A city that keeps going no matter what happened to some random person, it had to, thats what it did, it moved on. And that's what I had to do. Move on, no matter how hard it hurt.

My Boyfriend George Eacker broke up with me, he claimed that our relationship had burned to ash. I just presumed he was dating an someone else. We had been together for six years and I hoping to get married. He obviously thought otherwise.

I look up the sky, there is a faint trace of the stars which burned brightly every night, but because of the ever moving city lights you couldn't really see them.

I was originally from the country side and would sneak out of my room into the roof of our old cabin and stare at the steadfast stars. They were beautiful, I had planned to take George to see them but well I would'nt now.

I stood up, dusting myself off. I take a deep breath and complete my run back to my apartment music blasting in my ears.

When I finally get home I take out my headphones and put them with my phone on the kitchen counter.

I slump to the ground and start to cry, I cry for George, for my broken heart but mostly I cry for the stars.

Time skip. Reader had travelled to their parents home in the country side to move on from George.

I step off my train, my hands laiden with luggage. I drop it when I see my parents. I run up and hug them.

"I have missed you guys so much" I say tears of joy filling my eyes.

"We missed you to Y/N" says Mom.

My father nods at me, signalling to get my bags

I turn around to grab my luggage but it is being handed to me.

I look up, I stare at a young man, he had shoulder length curly dark brown hair, chocolate brown eyes and his skin is covered with freckles, so many I couldn't count, they remind me of stars. He is wearing a pale purple/gray sweatshirt and a pair of blue jeans.

"Hello, Um miss I just wanted to make sure you didn't forget your stuff" he says with a quirky smirk on his face.

"Oh thank you so much" I say nervous as I take my bags.

He turns away but I shout after him;

"Hey" he looks back at me "there are plenty of people here that have dropped their stuff, why help me"

"I needed an excuse to talk to the pretty lady" he says, smiling as he disappears into the crowd

I feel my face flush at the complement. I flinch as someone places a hand on my shoulder, it's just my father though.

"Do you know who that was" I ask them as we walk out of the station.

"That was Philip, the eldest Hamilton boy, he works in a local shop, he is a lovely lad" my dad explains.

My face is still warm, I really wanted to see the freckled faced boy again.

An other time skip, you get to your childhood home.

I smile broadly as I see the wooden house, I even see my bedroom window.

"It's the same way you left it sweatie" says my mother.
