I clenched my fists. This will be the first time, I ever do this. "greedy? selfish? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!??! I've worked my a*s off trying to f*cking please you, I followed your orders, I treated you with respect, I tried my very f*cking best to grant your wishes! And now you go and say that I need to go to prom with a certain boy because of his family's business, then have the audacity to say I'M being greedy and selfish?!?!"The shocked look on his face pleased me greatly.
"I've put up with your sh^t for years! All he pressure! All the insults all the f*cking disrespect!I've had enough! You don't control me! I'm not a f*cking toy you can play with then throw away! I'm a human being! Now why don't you stop shoving your head up your f*cking a*s and actually look at me, take a deep f*cking breath, and actually realize you've been putting me through hell for years."
Tears threatened to spill from my eyes. He was in total shock. "Now excuse me as I go buy a prom dress." I spat and left the house, slamming the door loudly behind me. I took a deep shaky breath, wiped my eyes then left for the mall.

Zane's P.O.V.
I nervously shuffled into the school with Y/n, she gripped my sweaty hand with a soft smile. i pulled my mask up higher to hide my growing blush. "so pretty..." Her eyes lit up whne she saw the sparkling lights of the disco ball. Loud music boomed in the room making it difficult to hear each other.
To not look like a total fool, I got Vlayd to help me on slow dancing.. though they were very frustrating days, I finally got the steps down. I owe him one... Y/n and I currently sat on the sideline, talking and laughing. When the lights began to dim and the music became slower... I was ready to put my skills and painful days to the test.
Before I could say anything... Y/n wasn't beside me anymore. worriedly I got uo and searched for her. "Y/N!" I called out, running out of the dance room. I looked and looked soon looking outside. And there on a hill sat Y/n, her knees were tucked up into her chest, she hugged them closely.
Sighing in relief, I made my way over and sat next to her. "I was looking for you.." I said worriedly. "Oh...S-sorry.."
Your P.O.V.
"Whats wrong?" He asked me, scooting closer. "I'm just....insecure about dancing... I guess..heh, I'm sorry.." I shook my head. That was true, at dances I hated to dance....I'm afraid the people I know will judge me more harshly then the people I don't know.
He looked at me for a second before pulling out his phone, I looked at him curiously. He swiped through it until he clicked on a song. (Play song now)
He turned up the volume and placed it in the grass, he then stood up and offered his hand to me. "It's just us...no one to judge you.." He softly looked down at me, "So please, dance with me." I stared wide eyed at him, slowly I took his hand and he lifted me to my feet.He took his shoes and socks off, I took my heels off and looked deeply into his icy blue eye.
He wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me closely to his body, He let go and took my hands in his, he twirled me then brought my body close again. Our body swayed to the music, we danced until the stars and moon were our only light.
My head rested on his shoulder, closing my eyes, he stopped dancing, making me open my eyes."Y/n.... I had a great time tonight." we pulled back from each other, but he gripped my hands.
"A-and well... Y/n... I love you... I've loved you ever since we met." I saw his cheeks flush. My heart fluttered and my eyes widened at his words. "I can't ever get you off my mind and my life doesn't seem satisfied without you by my side... please... say you'll be my girlfriend." His one icy blue eye sparkled with hope.
I got one hand free from his grasp and pulled down his mask, "Zane... I promise.. I'll make you the happiest boy alive... I'll be there for you when you need me." I kissed him softly.
His eye widened but let go of my hands and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me close to his hips. My arms wrapped around the back of his neck, after a few seconds I pulled away. Panting a bit from the lack of oxygen.
I pressed my forehead against his with a lust filled gaze, "It would please me greatly... to be your girlfriend, Shadow buddy."
He smiled widely and kissed me again, through that night.. I got myself a boyfriend.
The best boyfriend I could possibly wish for....
