"if i don't leave now, i'm gonna be late." she mutters.
rushing out of her apartment, she ran into the elevator and made her way down. she ran to the campus and into her class. taking her usual seat, she takes out her homework and her notes. what surprised her was when lin yanjun took a seat on her right so casually.
"this seat is taken." she tells him.
"taken by me," he smirks, " i asked your partner if she minded if we traded seats. she didn't mind so i sit here now."
"oh." she turned around to see her old partner sitting in yanjun's seat.
"you don't want me here?" he assumes. "how about i bribe you? morning coffee," he places a cup on her desk, "and a breakfast sandwich," he placed it beside the cup, "every morning? in return, you study and do homework with me."
"i'll take it." she grins, biting into the sandwich.
he grins, "this is the start of our friendship."
