"And that kids is the saddest love story that has ever existed on the planet," Zeren says, eating his lollipop.

"Don't forget the most boring," Justin pointed out. "Seriously, how come you two never did anything fun?"

Xinchun nods his head, "Yeah, all they do is text."

Quanzhe sighed, facing the three children that were infront of them. "Forgive them. They don't know what true love actually is."

"Oh, and you think you know it?" Zeren asks, mocking the younger one.

"Of course. Sucks for you guys you haven't met yours yet."

"I met mine once!" Xinchun said, stomping his feet, then looking at the sky. "Sadly, she dumped me on prom night."

Justin pats his head, "Our poor little minion is heartbroken again."

"What are you guys doing?" Chengcheng suddenly arrived with take out. "Are you influencing something bad to them? I swear if the kids -"

"Relax, chong chong." Justin says, moving towards him to grab  some food. "Quanzhe was telling them his love story."

Chengcheng nods, sitting down on the grass, "Did you tell them who won in our fight?"

"I won," Quanzhe said, drinking his juice as he looks around. "By the way, where is she?"

A girl with a slender figure suddenly arrived. She was smiling as she waved her hand.

Quanzhe smiled. Who would've thought that a girl like her can make him feel a thousand emotions?

"Sorry, I was late," She said, sitting down beside Quanzhe. "What'd I miss?"

Wenjun took a bite of his burger, "Nothing much. You already lived through it anyway."

Quanzhe kept looking at her which made the girl notice him. "What are you looking at?"

"It's just -" Quanzhe intertwined their fingers together. "I really got lucky this time."

(FLASHBACK TO ZHENGTING'S GRADUATION)

"Quartz, come on! Zhengting is waiting! You coming or what?"

Quanzhe turned around to meet Meizen's eyes. The eyes he wished he could drown in forever.

"Are you deaf or something?"

Quanzhe couldn't take it anymore, so he pulled her into his arms. And squeezed her tight. "I love you, Meizen."

Meizen felt herself getting flustered so she pushed Quanzhe away, also hitting his head multiple times, "What the hell are you going on about?"

"Ow! Ow!" The boy winced in pain, trying to cover his big head. "You don't have to be so shy about it."

"You know how that makes me feel when I hear those words!"

Quanzhe smirked leaning in, "Yeah, and I'm lucky I'm the only one who makes you feel that way."

Meizen felt the hair at the back of her neck stand up as Quanzhe's voice passed through her ear.

Meizen stomped on his feet making him wince the second time.

"Stop hurting me!" Quanzhe cried out.

Meizen glared at him, "Then stop that! Ugh, you're hopeless."

Quanzhe laughed as he saw Meizen walked away from him, towards the crowd where Zhengting's graduation is taking place.

He smiled at himself knowing how much Meizen likes him.

She survived that night. They wouldn't think she would, but she did. She fought against it.

Although her heart ailment is still there and she needs the medication, she's still as healthy as ever.

Her dad got arrested for harassing her multiple times, now he got what he deserved. Rotting in jail for his dirty crimes.

Meizen on the other hand turned her head around as she saw the guy she's been crushing on walked towards her. She smiled, "Thank you, Quanzhe. For being one of the many reasons why I fought and decided to stay."

Quanzhe grinned, holding her hand, "I did what I had to do. Now come on, didn't you say Zhengting was waiting?"

They walked together hand in hand to celebrate the graduation of their older brother.

They started anew after that. Meizen never walked that dark path again. The boys were all happy as they were together for every celebration.

"I think we're all lucky," Meizen whispered, leaning on Quanzhe's shoulders as they watched the boys play around with the kids Chengcheng was looking after.

The couple were both giggling and playing with each other but were interrupted when Zhengting arrived, "Didn't I tell you no PDA? There are kids present."

Quanzhe stood up and made a funny face at Zhengting, "You're just jealous because you have no picture with Chengcheng's sister yet!"

"Come back here, Li Quanzhe!" The older started chasing around his younger brother as the others followed behind.

Meizen smiled seeing how much fun they were having. She decided to join in playing along with the friends who helped her regain her self back and be open to the world.
