"Hey mom. I'm leaving now. I'll see you Monday" I say. I just walked into her room and she is laying on her bed with Ben watching tv.

"Why are you leaving so early?" She asks.

"Me and Dad are going somewhere. I don't know where yet but he said to get there before nine" I say. That's a total lie. I just didn't want to see Rowan this morning. I'm not mad at her but I know it is just going to be really awkward.

"Ok bye sweetie" She says.

"Bye Sabrina" Ben says.

"Bye" I say and leave the room and shut the door.

I go into my room and grab my bag. I turn to leave my room and I see the door to Rowan and Auggie's room open. "Please don't be Rowan" I whisper. I must have gotten lucky because it was Auggie.

"Hi Sabrina" He says. He sounded tired.

"Hi Auggie" I say back

"Where are you going?" He asks.

"I'm going to my dads house. I'll be back on Monday" I say.

"Ok. Bye. Have fun" He says.

"Bye Auggie" I say and give him a hug.

We let go and he goes to my moms room and I go downstairs. No one was down there. I assume Rowan is still asleep in her room. I go out to my car and put my bag in the back seat and then start driving. My dad's house is like a half an hour away so my car ride was spent listening to the radio.

Once I get there I get out of my car and go inside.

"Hi dad" I yell when I walk inside.

"Hi Sab" He says and comes into the kitchen from the living room.

We go into the living room and sit on the couch. He was watching some alligator hunting show. My dad really likes reptiles. I think that is the whole reason we live in Florida.

"So how is your mom's new boyfriend?" He asks. 

"Not bad. I don't talk to him a lot" I say.

"What about his kids? Are they two little kids and you are gonna come stay with me the rest of the summer?" He asks.

"No thank god. One is my age and then the other one is nine" I say

"That's not too bad. I was kinda hoping you would come stay with me though" He says.

"How about in like two weeks I'll come stay with you for like a week?" I ask

"That's good but why in two weeks?" He asks.

"Mom has stuff planned almost everyday for the next two weeks" I say. That's not true. Rowan is just going back to NY in two weeks.

"Ok. That's fine" He says. "Have you seen Corey recently?" He asks.

"I saw him a couple days ago for a couple hours" I say.

"You know I don't care if you see him now, right?" He asks.

"Yeah I know" I say

"I still don't want him over here though" He says.

"I didn't think so" I say. "Can I ask you something?" I ask.

"Yeah of course" He says.

"How would you feel if I kissed a girl?" I ask. I needed to talk to someone about it. I can't talk about it with Corey for obvious reasons. If I talk to my mom she will probably think it is Rowan and I don't want to do that to her. Out of everyone in my family I'm closest with my dad so he seems like the best person to tell.

"Honestly I would be 100% ok with that." He says. "Why did you actually kiss a girl?" He asks.

"No. A girl kissed me and" I start and pause for a couple second. "I just don't know" I say.

"I would still love you even if later on you do some self discovery and realize your not straight" He says.

"Thanks dad" I say and give him a hug.

"Your welcome" He says and hugs me back and then let's go. "I don't want you to think I'm changing the subject or anything but I've been really excited to tell you this" He says.

"What is it?" I ask. I hope he doesn't hit me with the news that he has a girlfriend. I'm having enough problems with one step sibling as is.

"Well I got three tickets to a little band you might like" He says.

"What band?" I ask. I got really excited. I don't really care who it is, a concert is a concert.

"Oh I don't know if you like them" He starts, he said that very sarcastically. "Twenty One Pilots"

"Yes! Yes. A million times yes!" I say.

"Yeah I figured that would be the answer" He says.

"Who's the third ticket for?" I ask. This is where it gets ruined by him saying he has a girlfriend and that she is coming with us.

"Well I figured you wouldn't want to a concert with just your dad. That's lame. I got it for Corey" He says.

"Yay! Thanks dad" I say and give him a hug. "I'm gonna go tell him" I say once we let go and run upstairs. I have my own room at my moms house and dads house, pretty cool right?

I jump on my stomach on to my bed and call him. Texting won't express how excited I am right now.

"Hey" Corey says when he picks up the phone.

"Hey" I say and I sounded really excited.

"What's up?" He asks. He knows me so well.

"You don't have a choice but do you want to come to a concert with me and my dad?" I ask.

"Wow your dad is actually letting us see each other" He says.

"Shut up and answer my question" I say.

"You said I don't have a choice" He says.

"Ok good so your going" I say.

"Of course I am" He says. "When is it?" He asks.

"Um I don't know. Let me ask" I say and get up. "Dad when is this concert?" I yell down the stairs.

"Monday night" He says back.

"Ok. Can you drop me off at moms after?" I ask.

"Whatever you want" He says.

"Ok thanks dad" I say.

"Your welcome" He says back and I go back into my room.

"He said Monday" I say.

"I know I heard your entire conversation" Corey says.

"Ok good" I say. "I'll talk to you tomorrow" I say.

"Bye" He says.

"Bye. Love you" I say.

"Love you too" He says and I hang up.
