Guzma x Reader

He explained to you everything. That kid got out of the way, but the car still turned and was going to hit you. But, the guy pushed you away and had his legs ran over. He was taken to the hospital and his legs were broken for awhile. As for you, only being pushed down to the sidewalk caused you pain. Nothing was broken or exploding. You were fine.

As for the sushi place, there was a hole there and a few people had to be taken to the hospital. Sadly, two died and three lived with permanent damage. It was really horrible. The guy sighed, "Things like this don't ever happen around here. It's weird."

"You...... saved me" you said softly.

He turns to you and denies it, "No! I didn't save anyone. And I sure as hell didn't save you!"

You stared at him and spoke, "Why are you denying it? You saved me! I may not be here if you didn't push me out of the way."

"Look kid," he began, "I'm not a hero. So get that shit outta your head. I'm just an ex-gang leader, who couldn't become anythin' great. I'm no one!"

You both stayed silent for a moment. Then he continued, "Everyone looks at me as I'm bad news. No one cares about me. Everyone stares and avoids me. Big bad Guzma... no one ain't saying I saved a damn life. I can't do anything right. I couldn't even beat that kid. My own parents never helping me then...... when I needed someone to care for me."

He remained silent for a long time. It looked like he was trying to not cry. You scooted closer to him and patted his back. Umbreon looked up at him with understanding and curiosity in those eyes. You opened your mouth to say something, but you heard a familiar voice calling out. They were calling for your step-father.

You looked above the rock and saw that blonde lady, the one that your step-douche was talking with. She was looking for him, but why?

You looked back at the man and he looks at you, "So, you know them?"

"Um... no. Not really. She was with... my step-dad around the corner of the sushi place... a few months ago."

"Was that why you were behind the arch?" He asked.

You turned to face him and was nervous. You tried to deny it, but he saw through it. Before anything else was said, the lady turned by the rock and saw you and the ex-gang leader there. "Oh! I didn't expect you to be here" she said shocked.

"Wh-what do you mean?" You asked her nervous.

"Uh... well, you're that troubled girl, who was hit by that car three months ago. I thought they said you died" the woman said.

You were being freaked out by this woman. The man spoke up himself, "She wasn't hit by the car. Those people inside were."

The lady glared at him and hesitated to speak, "Uh-huh. Anyway... do you know where a Mr. (L/n) is? I was suppose to meet him around here."

Your eyes widen a bit. You stood up and said, "That's my step-dad, William (l/n)."

"Oh. I didn't know he had any children. Are you sure?"

"Yes. He and my mother got married and moved here a few months ago. I'm their... daughter" you responded.

The lady shook her head and didn't believe you. She turned to leave, but you continued, "My mother is Melony (l/n). She's a teacher at the school. William (l/n) is a scientist from Hoenn. I'm (y/n) (l/n)! That guy is a jerk and ruined my life!"

She stopped so suddenly and thought about it for a moment. Without turning an inch of herself, she simply said "I have to go" and took off.

You returned Umbreon to his Poké ball and about to leave. The man stopped you and asked, "Where do ya think you're going? Just going to take off like that?"

"What else is there for me to do? My life is already gone" you responded.

"But you're still here. Breathing. Living. How is it gone, because of one person?" He asked.

"My life has been dead... since my father was killed."
