"and yes, that's it. hopefully everyone understands." donghyuck ended his speech, turning off the powerpoint after. the next thing happening was the whole class clapping for him.
"as expected from our best student. thank you, donghyuck!" their physics teacher who's so called mrs.heo blurted out, still clapping. suddenly, she slowly approached donghyuck, massaging his shoulders with a wide smile plastered on her face.
"uh- yes. thank you, mrs.heo. i'll sit down now." the brunette awkwardly excused himself, clearly uncomfortable. donghyuck then walked to the most farthest seat from the front. deciding to seat there, hoping for no one to disturb him.
"so, class-" mrs.heo started, though a sound of knocking on the door stopped her from escaping any words from her mouth.
everyone in the class (excluding donghyuck) shifted their eyes to the door, revealing their homeroom teacher mr.hong with someone behind him. mr.hong then simply came in front and whispered something to mrs.heo while the other students were talking about the guy next to mr.hong.
donghyuck who had zero interest with what's happening, started sketching random buildings on a scribbled paper he found underneath the table.
after a short moment, mrs.heo started clearing her throat loudly. which signs that she has an announcement to make. "attention please!" she yelled, loud enough to make every each of her students' ear hurt. "we have a new student." mr.hong said afterwards, sending a glance on the new student.
"new student, please introduce yourself." the young man abruptly nodded and cleared his throat.
he blinked his eyes for almost 7 times in a second, showing how nervous he was to talk with such number of crowd, but of course, he also wanted to man up. so, he started talking.
"hello. i'm mark lee. i'm korean, but i'm from canada. if that makes sense. nice meeting everyone." (a/n; italic means he's talking in english)
every girls were silently squealing, they kept on whispering to each other about how good looking and adorable the boy was, but he could only keep calm and control his embarrassment.
"please, take care of him. no bullying or anything or i'll swear-" mrs.hong took a moment to send a glare to the students, "anyways, ummm.." mrs.hong looked around, and landed his eyes on donghyuck with a huge smile. "donghyuck?"
donghyuck then stopped sketching and looked in front, lifting up his right eyebrow. "can you show mark around at recess?" donghyuck sighed, annoyed. "kay."
"alright, you can sit next to donghyuck mark." mr.hong ordered, mark nodded bluntly.
"i just wanted some time alone and this is happening again." donghyuck spoke to himself, cursing after. the brunette then took a grip on the pencil and continued to sketch what he didn't finished.
after mr.hong was done with his job, he left the classroom without a single word. mark went up to seat next to donghyuck.
"hi, i'm m-"
carelessly, donghyuck nodded and rolled his eyes. "i know, i'm donghyuck."
