Recovery

John sniffled quietly as Sherlock held him close. After having been confronted for self harming, he'd been crying for a few hours. All of his bad memories had been flooding back. He'd had a major attack, which caused Sherlock to do nothing but comfort and hold John. It was already 2 am, but Sherlock didn't care if he had to stay all night with John.

Suddenly, a soft knock rang out. Sherlock glanced at the door. Who could it be?

John wiped his eyes and sniffled, standing up. "I-I'll get it." he said quietly. He went over to the door, opening it and freezing as he saw the 5'7 male, a six foot tall "beast" standing next to him. The taller male had dirty blonde hair. He was quite scarred all over and was rather buff.

Sherlock quickly stood up and went over, pulling John away and holding him. "What do you want?" he asked, seeing Sebastian and Jim. "And who is this?"

Jim bit his lip, shifting his weight from one foot to another. He was terrified. Sebastian sighed quietly and rubbed Jim's back gently. "John, Sherlock, the, uh...the contract is terminated." he said quietly.

"What? No!" John suddenly exclaimed, shaking with wide eyes. Why was he doing this? Had he gotten sick of John? Was he going to hurt Sherlock? His daughter?!

Seb sighed quietly and walked in with Jim, sitting down as he held his lover's hands. He explained what had happened that night. How he found out what Jim did to John, how Jim reacted; he even vaguely and indirectly told them he'd raped Jim by accident. John, of course, didn't piece it together, but Sherlock certainly did. Plus, he could see it on Jim. The man was an anxious, shaky mess.

John looked over, his breathing quiet yet heavy. "S...so you're not going to hurt anyone anymore?" he asked quietly.

Jim shook his head. "No, never. Maybe I'll still be involved in crime, but...maybe not even that. I can't live with myself knowing I hurt you so badly." he said quietly. Sherlock frowned a bit, still hesitant on believing the male. After all, Jim had raped John three times, murdered innocent lives, tormented him and was an overall egotistical murderer. But...he simply sighed quietly and nodded. "I'm so sorry, Jim." he said quietly, feeling a bit bad that it took forced sex to make Jim realize what he was doing was wrong.

Jim looked over, sighing quietly. Of course Sherlock figured it out. "It's...alright. Sebby didn't mean to." he said quietly.

John suddenly placed it, his expression not sympathetic at all. He actually felt a bit...satisfied. Either way, he sighed and looked over. "As a doctor, I can't really let you out like this. I'll give you a checkup if you wish. But as my own person, I'm somewhat glad it happened. After how horrible you've been to everyone...you kind of deserved it." he muttered.

Jim inhaled shakily and nodded. He knew he wasn't going to be forgiven. Still, he let John take him to the bathroom and removed himself of most of his clothing. John gave him a checkup, then walked out and sighed quietly. "He's mostly fine, but will need hospitalization. His neck is severely hurt and if left untreated, could lead to serious consequences." he muttered, rubbing his own arm as he looked down. He hated this, but he also enjoyed it a bit. Which he also hated.

Seb sighed quietly and stood up, walking over and gently kissing Jim's forehead. "Sorry, boss..." he said quietly. Jim shook his head. "It's...alright." he said quietly, then turned. "You don't have to worry about Sherlock, Rosie, or anyone you know anymore." he said gently. "I won't hurt any of them." he promised.

Sherlock and John sighed quietly, not believing him, but nodded. They knew others were still in danger; just not anyone they knew. But that was enough for them. "Goodbye, Jim." Sherlock said, looking over with a frown. John walked over and sat next to Sherlock, wiping his eyes.

"Goodbye, Sherlock. Goodbye, John." Jim said quietly, holding Seb's hand and leaving.

It was finally over.
