I stood there overwhelmed. Me, is it really me? I slowly walk up to the front with a huge smile washing over my face, I can't believe they actually picked my name!
As soon as I reach the stage I carelessly trip over the few stairs that remain there, trying to look as if nothing had happened, but really nerves are eating me inside!. The main lady, Tilly I think her name was, rushed over to help me regain my balance and to show me where I was to stand.
After the deafening cheers and extreme nerves had calmed Tilly stepped towards the 'boys' box and slowly reached inside to grab once again a dirty, stained piece of old paper. I can't wait to see who I'm going with!
Tilly danitely reads it out one letter after the next, the excitement within me is uncontrollable. Then I realise the name, it's Asher. Me and Asher get to go together, I'm so overwhelmed with excitement! Nothing can be better, me and my best friend Asher exploring the world together.
