If I Fall || A Zorobin fanfic [[editing]]

Zoro stared at his reflection in the mirror as he struggled to tie his necktie. This was the part which he hated the most; tying his necktie. He grumbled under his breath as the necktie keep tangling, making it more hard to tie.

I wish Robin could tie it for me. The mention of her name made the green-haired man smile immediately. He couldn't believe that she was officially his now. He was extremely happy when she said those words back.

After a few more struggle, he let out a sigh of relief when he finally tied his necktie. He took one last glance in the mirror before leaving the house. He drove towards the company where he worked at with a few wrong turns.

He immediately parked his car as soon as he arrived at the company's parking lot. He glanced at his watch, a grin plastered on his face. "Aren't I early?" He said proudly with a smug grin.

He entered the building casually. He raised his eyebrow when a few of his fellow coworkers kept giving him shocked glances. What's with the shocked looks? Didn't boss tell them? He thought in annoyance.

He walked towards the desk of his boss' assistant and knocked on it. The said assistant glanced at the green-haired man with the same shocked expression. Am I really that early to earn such shocked looks with almost everyone?

He cleared his throat, snapping out the assistant from her train of thoughts. The assistant blushed furiously and stood up, greeting him politely. "Good morning, Mr. Zoro. I thought you'll come back next week?"

Zoro looked at her quizzically. "What do you mean? Didn't boss call me to come back here?" He inquired, getting suspicious now. They didn't know? The assistant just looked at him with furrowed eyebrows which made him more suspicious.

Maybe boss didn't tell them? Then why is Tashigi the one who called me yesterday? They stared at each other with the same confused expressions. He sighed as he massaged his temples for a bit.

"Forget what I said. Anyway, is boss available?" He inquired, changing the topic. She just nodded at him and told him to wait a minute before calling someone on the phone.

"Mr. Zoro," She called out, "Boss would like to see you now." He just nodded at her before walking towards the boss' office. He stopped in his tracks when he finally reached it. He knocked on the wooden door until a low voice told him to come in.

He let himself in and settled on a chair infront of his boss' desk. "Zoro, this is quite a surprise. I thought you'll come back next week. What makes you come back so early?" He asked, voice laced with surprise.

"What are you talking about, boss? Aren't you the one who called me to come back?" The green-haired man replied, furrowing his eyebrows. The blond man, Zoro's boss, laughed while shaking his head.

"And why would I ruin one of my best employees' romantic vacation? You're really weird," He voiced out, still laughing. "What...?" His eyes widen at his boss' words, extremely confusing him.

He was about to ask his boss about it when he was suddenly cut off by the blond man's voice. "Anyway, forget about that. I'm glad that you came back early. We kind of need an extra helping hand right now. Are you willing to work now? Or do you want to work tomorrow?"

"No. Now is okay, boss. I don't have anything important to do anyway," He replied. The boss clapped his hands in delight before giving him a pat on his back. "Thank you, Zoro. I know I could always count on you," He praised, handing the green-haired man a handful of files from his desk.
