"listen... we should get some sleep. it's late and we still have to clean the kitchen alright?" he said quickly ending the conversation. yuna followed him around, towards the hallway.
"kihyun-ssi!" she called his name as her footsteps followed his in the narrowed place. he ignored her calling so she grabbed his forearm stopping him.
he was forced to turn around to meet her inquisitive eyes. "i'll leave if you tell me the truth."
"what truth!?" he yelled now. his tone was slightly annoyed but yuna felt he wasn't really angry, or at least not directly with her.
"are you having regrets?" she asked carefully. he frowned in confusion. "regrets?"
"yeah, about what happened between us, is that why you don't want me around anymore?" she asked.
his eyes widened as he ran a hand through his black long hair. "are you kidding me? no! of course not... it has nothing to do with it. it's personal shit."
"what?" she asked confused but slightly relieved it had nothing to do with what have happened between them.
kihyun just shrugged. "listen. it's personal stuff that i don't want to share with you right now."
"why?"
he groaned in frustration. "it's not fair for you."
yuna narrowed her eyes as she took a step towards him. "i don't think you get to decide what's fair and what's not fair to me. tell me!" she exclaimed.
he rolled his eyes and sighed, finally closing the space between them, pushing her against the wall and grabbing her face between his hands. as he looked hungrily for her lips, she felt his body pressing against hers. and even if yuna wanted to push him away, to stop him right there to get the answers she desired, she couldn't.
she let herself flow with his lips as she felt his strong hands traveling through her body. her hands instinctively lifted to his head, looking for his black locks as she pulled them softly. her teeth biting his bottom lip as she heard his soft moans.
both yuna and kihyun lost for a moment in themselves, as yuna felt his hard on pressing against her tummy. "god you're so frustrating..." he mumbled on the crook of her neck while his hands looked for the hem of her pajama pants.
yuna closed her eyes as she enjoyed the moment of proximity between them.
even if kihyun had told her hurtful things previously, she had too. and for some curious reason she couldn't find herself being angry with him anymore.
she enjoyed him. she liked to have him doing these things to her. she had missed it so so much.
minutes later she found herself laying on her bed with the sheets covering her body. the night was cold and she felt kihyun's presence next to her. just laying there, providing her with the warmth she needed.
it was everything she needed in that moment and she finally let herself travel to dreamland.
there was a rainy day, as the ones she've encountered since she arrived the house. everything was light gray, even the sky. one would think these scenarios were sad and they were but not for her.
she felt strangely contented.
she was casually under a tree, it was a big one that provided her with protection from the rain. the air was chilly but totally bearable.
she was reading a random book as she admired the nature. it was something she almost never did until she met kihyun.
the reading was insteresting but apparently not as much as the two birds that were hovering a nest. yuna stared at them with loving eyes as she tried to take a picture.
but suddenly when she looked at the picture she had taken, she noticed the shadow of a man standing in the distance. her eyes diverted from the phone's screen to the place where the man was supposed to be but he wasn't there anymore.
she stood from the ground and looked around the tree in all directions. she walked around, focusing her eyes in the distance but suddenly he appeared next to her, almost making her stumble on her feet.
"ki-kibumie?" she asked petrified. she knew he had died so there was no way he could be there.
he stared at her silently with intense eyes.
he looked exactly as the last time she saw him. his dark brown hair tousled and dark circles around his eyes, wearing a pair of dark brown plaid pants and a beige buttoned up shirt. he looked tired but overall miserable. it definitely didn't look like her kibum.
"kibumie?" she asked again as suddenly her eyes filled with tears.
automatically she took a step towards him and lifted her hand. she just wanted to touch him. she wanted to know if he was truly there, if he was real.
but just as her hand reached for his cheeks, it passed through his skin. he started fading away softly but there was time enough for him to mumble something to her.
something unspeakable.
something that made her wake up bathed in sweat in the middle of the night. dilated pupils and heart raced.
she removed the sheets and stood from the bed as she looked around the room, looking for him.
but he wasn't there.
yuna walked out of the room as kibum's words kept echoing inside her head. they were fresh. she just dreamed with him, she remembered it all.
once she desperately reached the living room, she found kihyun sitting on the couch with his face buried on his palms. it looked he was crying.
around were scattered around packing boxes and bags. she glanced at the kitchen only to realize it had been cleaned by himself while she was sleeping.
she stopped on her tracks and he heard the footsteps to which he looked up and their eyes met. "why are you really here kihyun?"
he frowned for a second, confused and even tired of her for keeping up with the same speech. he sighed and closed his eyes.
"i told you-
"i know why you're here."
