Author's Note: As promised, this is the sister chapter to the previous one called Fugitives. Both this chapter and Fugitives takes place simultaneously. Enjoy. :)

Arriving into the interrogation room, both Hank and Connor were confronted by Detective Gavin and Captain Fowler. The detective eyed Connor with venom and smirked at the android's human partner when Captain Fowler began his scolding.

"Hank! What the fuck is wrong with you? You just upped and left as soon as you heard your android was a little more proactive than you!" He erupted, stepping up close to him as if to frighten him just a little. Hank did not seem bothered by this at all, instead choosing to sit down on a steel chair and stare at the deranged android across the glass.

The unstable android who had been a gardener was weeping hysterically, muttering one sentence over and over again: "Ralph did nothing wrong!" Hank found himself extremely perturbed and was definitely not going to volunteer to be in a room all alone with a fucked in the head android. God, he thought to himself, what is this world coming to that now even androids can go batshit crazy?

"Connor." Hank interrupted the Captain who had not even stopped to breathe between his fatuous yelling. "Go and interrogate this piece of shit."

Gavin snickered condescendingly, pushing Connor to move him back, but it did little to make the android budge. "Why are we sending an android to interrogate an android? I mean, how the fuck does that even make sense?"

Hank glared at the young man, whom he had begun to abhor in the last few years. The years had not been kind to anyone with the introduction of androids, but he did not imagine how ignoble his former partner would turn out. "Connor interrogated the android who murdered Carlos Ortiz and got a confession out of him. I think that after that, he is perfectly qualified to question this motherfucker." Gavin grimaced at this and stepped back, slightly embarrassed, glaring at his feet. He absolutely would pay everything in return back to this old wheezer and his fucking pet of an android very soon, he thought purposefully.

Captain Fowler shook his head, exasperated. "Why are we even making such an effort for this case? Your android could not catch it on the first attempt and who knows where in the country it may have fled to by now!"

Hank blew a raspberry, shrugging his shoulders and gestured to Connor. The said android quickly explained his reasoning even when he did not feel it particularly resonate with him. "This deviant not only a murdered a man but also eloped with his child. If the media discovers this, it will be our credibility that will be at risk. There are also other factors, you may wish to consider, Captain. One is that children's social services can get involved and this will be extremely unfavorable for our police department and for Cyberlife."

While their captain seethed in response, Hank crossed his arms in agreement and spoke determinedly. "You heard the machine. We need to nab that deviant. And fast."

Fowler puffed out his chest, his head inclining to meet Connor's sight. "Interrogate this bastard and find the fucking deviant. A week is all you have." And with that, he disappeared from the room with Gavin hot on his trail.

Simultaneously, Connor stood gathering the best approach to take with this sort of android. He knew it would be a difficult interrogation and aggression was simply not an option with an android that was already deranged. He could try being sympathetic, but he absolutely needed a location on the fugitives from this deviant and sometimes sympathy would not work. Or . . . he could trick him and probe his memory. That seemed to be the only viable option at this point, Connor decided walking into the interrogation room and quickly analyzing his opponent.

Green trademark android clothes to indicate that this was a machine designed for gardening. A knife had been found on him which was placed in a locked container to the side. Connor quickly analyzed it and found no traces of fingerprints. Instead, he found blood and peculiarly rodent blood. He turned to face the deviant again who was no longer screaming, but monotonously whispering "Ralph did nothing wrong". A large scar caught the light and revealed his inner facial mechanical muscles. Blue and electric, as Connor had expected, yet he still felt a small fascination blossom in him. This was what was contained within him and before he could even touch his own face, an untimely loud scream interrupted his thoughts.
