Aiden's POV:

"Excited for the party?" Mom asks as she fixes my tie, she is dress in a long silky orange dress, her red hair style up into a one with the crown.

"Its just another boring party mother", I say.

"But I bet there are a lot of pretty girls tonight, especially Willow", she smiles.

I groan,"mother, Willow and I aren't a thing not now, not ever" I assure her.

"She seems to really like you", she smiles.

"Too bad, I don't feel the same way", I snap.

"Just calm down, you're just like your father hot tempered", she chuckles.

"I'm not hot tempered", dad argues walking into my room, he is dress up and his black hair style  like mine.

"Yes you are, a few days ago you almost burn down the meeting room with that argument", mom sells him out as he sighs.

"You're lucky I love you", he pulls her closer to him and give her a quick kiss.

"I'm right here you know", I groan.

"Aiden, your coronation has been move till spring", dad informs me.

"So far", I whine.

"Well the court wants to see your progress at the academy first", he explains, but I see uneasiness in his eyes.

"Your father think its best we see your progress first that's all dear", mom kisses my cheek,"isn't that right Austin?"She looks at dad.

"Um.. yes", he clears his throat. 

The court thinks I'm not worthy to be crowd prince of the fire nation, one is because I haven't born with the royal birthmark.

The royal birthmark appears on either the left or right side shoulder blade each generation of the first born child and the latest it has to appear is age ten. My grandmother's own is on her right wrist, my father's own on his right shoulder blade, so this generation since I'm male I should of got it on my left shoulder blade and if I have a daughter then hers will be left wrist.

"Well the party is about to start, let's get going and Aiden you are to escort Willow", mom reminds me and I groan.

"Why?"

"Because she's the crown princess of the air nation and you're great friends."

I only hang out with Willow because of my mother and Willow's mother being close friends.

We leave my room and I see Willow at the end of the corridor smiling at us, she's in a white strapless dress with her white tiara on her head.

"Good afternoon your highness", she curtsies at my parents who nod and leave us,"you look great Aiden."

"You too Willow, shall we?" I offer my arm.

She smiles her gray eyes shining,"we shall", she takes my arm as we follow after my parents.

"The royal family, lord Austin, her royal highness queen Daphne, prince Aiden and crowd princess of the air nation princess Willow!" Our announcer says as everyone clap.

I search the floor for Adrianna and only see her two friends as I walk down the left side while my parents on the right on our double staircase.

"I'm going to talk to my friends", Willow whispers and I nod as she leaves. Everyone gasps watching up at the staircase and I look up to see Adrianna, wow she looks like true royalty but I frown as I see my cousin next to her.

"Who's that dazzling girl?" Mom admires her dress as they walk down the stairs.

"That's Adrianna, she's in my grade."

"Adrianna?" Dad turns pale.

"Yes, do you know her?" I frown.

"Nope", he shakes his head.

"Uncle, aunty this is Adrianna", Anthony introduce her to my parents.

"Your highness", she curtsies,"nice to meet you."

"You as well, Anthony your date is so pretty", mom smiles and Adrianna blushes.

"Yeah my son wasn't so lucky", dad adds and they all laugh.

"If you'll excuse me", Adrianna says politely and leaves our little chatting group.

Dad watches her go with still a pale face, "father are you sure you haven't met her before?" I ask.

"No", he shakes his head,"but she reminds me of someone", he mutters.

Adrianna's POV:

"No way, how did you get Anthony to escort you?" Stella demands.

"Well I was watching some portraits and he came, we talk and then he ask if I want to be escorted downstairs", I shrug.

"Plus you had a conversation with the king and queen, we commoners barely get that privilege", she scoffs.

"Well they're greeting people right now", Rose points out and we turn around.

The king and queen greet some students while Aiden laughs and chats with his friends and Willow clinging unto his arm.

Suddenly, there is a loud crash and all the light goes out and so did the fire torch. Most of the girls scream and start to panic, then I feel water on me.

"My element isn't working!" A girl shouts. 

"Neither is mine", Stella says next to me.

I feel someone grabs me and cover mouth from screaming, they block my nose and I knock out.
