I’ve been with Demi for a year and a half now. Everything is going perfectly fine. Life is good. I haven’t done, or even thought about, doing anything criminally in a long time, which is a good sign. I’m in love with a girl that I’ve known for most of my life, I have a steady job,and I’m planning on making my life even better by asking Demi to marry me tonight. Yeah, yeah, it’s been a year and a half, and we’re only 22, but it’s that point in our relationship where we should take the next step. God, I hope she says yes. If she doesn’t, I will be extremely wrecked. She is my world, my light, my everything. I can’t imagine life without her. I really can’t. Tonight is the night I will propose to my beautiful girlfriend.
It was around one in the afternoon when I made my way to Demi’s apartment. I waited a minute or so before I knocked. Before I could finish my first knock, the door opened. “Hey, handsome,” Demi’s warm smile greeted me. “Hey, gorgeous,” I kissed her quick. “How did you know I was here?” I asked, making my way inside. “I just had a feeling,” she shrugged her shoulders with a small giggle. “If you aren’t doing tonight, I want to take you out for a picnic on the beach,” I snaked my arm around her waist, pulling her closer to me. Her curves were to die for. “I don’t. But, I can’t stay out too late, I have to open tomorrow,” I frowned. “But I would love to go out with you tonight, baby.” I let out a small chuckle. “Good, because I have an amazing night planned,” I smiled and kissed her again. “You better have an amazing night planned, if you really are doing this when I have to get up waaaaayyyy early,” I kissed her smile. “Oh, you’ll see. Put on your best outfit for tonight,” I gave her a small smirk before heading towards the door. “And you should do the same,” I turned just enough to see her smirking. “Oh, don’t you worry, baby girl,”

Later that day, I packed a picnic basket, put on my best clothes, and made my way over to Demi’s. I knocked on her door, waiting a few minutes before knocking again. When she didn’t answer the second time, I called her. No answer. I pressed my ear to her door and heard the shower going. I let out a sigh of relief. She always had to be fashionably late. I found her spare key and let myself in. I put now the basket on her coffee table and went to her bedroom to surprise her. I could hear her singing in the shower, and her voice sounded even more beautiful. I fell a little more in love with her. I’m so happy that I have her, and I’m hoping she says yes to my proposal.
When I heard the water stop, my heart skipped a beat. When she walked into her room, my heart was pounding.
“What are you doing here?” she asked.
“I came to pick you up for our date,” I told her, she looked at the time and her eyes bugged out of her head.
“Baby, I’m so sorry, I didn’t realize how late it was. I was hanging out with Marissa and I cleaned a little, and by the time I was done, I thought I still had another hour to get ready,” she shook her head. “I’m going to make this up to you.”
“No you don’t,” I pulled her close and gave her a slight kiss. “I understand, babe. You don’t need to do anything to make this up to me. Trust me. Now, go get something nice on.” I demanded, and licked my lips.
I waited in the living room as she got ready, going over my proposal in my head. Why am I stressing so much over this? She’s obviously is going to say yes. I have nothing to worry about. When she came out of her bedroom, my jaw dropped to the floor. She looked even more stunning, which I don’t know how that’s possible.
“Keep it in your pants, babe, at least until we get back here after our date,” she said, smirking.
“Oh, come on, you’re going to be like that?” I joked, kinda. “What’s so wrong with the possibility of getting caught?” I smirked.
“Everything,” she giggled. “Now lets go.” I grabbed the picnic basket and took her out to my car. It wasn’t a long drive to the beach, and there was no traffic either, which made it better. The night sky was so clear, which was perfect for tonight.
As we found a spot on the beach to set up, I looked up at the moonlight. “It’s gorgeous tonight, isn’t it?” she asked, snaking her arms around me. “It really is,” I turned so I was fully facing her, and put my hands on her hips. “I have something I’ve been meaning to ask you. For a while, actually.” I scratched the back of my head. “Well,” I got down on one knee. “Dem, I really love you. I can’t imagine life without you. You changed me, and I changed you. Both for the better. I can say that I’m deeply in love with you. I know it’s been a year and a half, but I can’t wait any longer. So,” I got out a blue velvet box and opened it to show a 30 karat diamond ring. “Will you marry me?” It felt like forever waiting for her response, when in reality, it was a matter of seconds. “Of course I will! A thousand times yes!” I slipped the ring on her finger, picked her up, and gave her the best kiss of her life. When I put her down, I couldn’t stop saying ‘I love you’ to her and kissing her. “Let’s forget about the food, and do something else,” she suggested, biting her lip seductively. I cocked an eyebrow. “Oh, yeah?” before I knew it, we both were laying on the blanket. I got on top of her, kissing her neck, and pealing off her clothes, as she did the same to me. I slid my throbbing member into her, keeping my lips on her neck. I found it a little hot how she was hiding her moans. I kept pumping in and out of her, moving my lips to hers. Shortly after, we climaxed together. The feeling was incredible. I was honestly high on life.

We got back to her apartment about 11, after looking up at the sky for a long while, and finally eating the food I packed. Tonight was going so perfectly, I didn’t want tonight to end, honestly. I could stay like like for the rest of my life, if I could. It’s around midnight when we’re cuddling in her bed, she sighs, and says, “What would you do if I said no to your proposal?” I sat up and cupped her cheek. “I would have been so heart broken. I wouldn’t be able to function. Honestly, I don’t think I would ever come out of my apartment if you said no,” I kissed her forehead. “I was just curious. You are the one I do want to be with for the rest of my life. I will always remember 7:05. The time you first asked me out, the time when we said our first ‘I love you’s, and when you asked me to marry you,” I kissed her passionately. “And at 7:05, we will have our first kiss as a married couple, I will promise you that will happen,” I kissed her again, and to feel her kiss me back. “I love you baby girl, now get some rest,” I kissed her head, and watched her fall asleep. I cannot wait to marry this girl. I cannot wait to start a family with her. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with her. She is the one I want. She is the girl of my dreams. She is the one. I’m getting happier by the minute, just thinking about marrying her. I am honesty marrying my best friend, and I’m so happy that I am.

I stayed at Demi’s for the night, made her an amazing breakfast before she went to work, and I’m planning on surprising her when she comes home tonight. I mean, she is on her feet all day, she is a cashier anyway.
It was around 1 in the afternoon when I got a call. “Hello?” I answered. “Is this Nick, Demi’s fiancé?” the other voice asked. “Yes, why? What happened to her?” I got nervous and scared. “This is Jon, her boss. She went out for lunch with a few of her co-workers, and on their way back, they were involved in a car accident,” I gulped. What? How? Who? So many questions were running through my head. “They just got to the hospital and I’m going there to see how things are. Please come down, it would mean a lot.” he finished. “Okay,” I said flatly. “I’ll be there soon.” I hug up and I called my brother, Joe, to come drop me at the hospital. I was in no condition to drive. I just hope she’s okay. Please, let her be okay. I can’t live without her. Please, God, let her be okay. That’s all I’m asking for. Please.
