Luca's POV

I finally have my little baby, my little Winter.

I hold him tightly to me as I walk away from the other vampires that are taking their claim's. All of a sudden I feel Winter stiffen up and hear him say something. I turn to look at what made Winter stiffen when I saw one of the other vampires on top of one of the humans, the one that I followed yesterday. Now that I look at him, he looks a lot like my baby, must be his brother. "Kyle!!" Winter started to cry when he saw his dull eyes. "No, no, no, no," Winter kept saying, still looking at his brother, who is now getting claimed to be a slave. I quickly cover Winter's eyes with my hand and shushes him. He doesn't stop crying while I change my hold on him and walk to my car, I quickly sit in the back and close the door. "Shush little one. Everything is going to be fine. I won't hurt you," Is the last thing he hears as he falls unconscious.

After about 10 minutes Luke gets in the back and looks at my little Winter. "Aw!! Doesn't he look so precious?!?!" He whispered I had to agree, Winter was curled in my lap with his little hands gripping my shirt lightly and he was softly snoring. Not the annoying snoring that is so loud that it could be mistaken for a train, no this was little huffs of air that was silent yet sounded like someone breathing on a winter day. "I'm so glad you finally found a little, Lu!! You've been looking for one for years, I thought that maybe you could find one today and I was right!! You look like the perfect daddy for the little tyke," Luke said while brushing his fingers through my baby's hair.

I just chuckled and looked at my baby again before calling my mate again to tell him the news.

CALL

L: Hello love, I have our baby and have some news.
?: That's great!! What's the news?
L: Well it turns out his name is Winter, which fits him perfectly, and he is at least half witch.
?: WHAT!?! I need to call a witch to come over and fix everything to make sure he can't use his magic here!!
L: Yes, I know my love. Oh yeah, you wanted to know his measurements right?
?: Yes! Can you tell me what they are?
L: Yes, his measurements are 61.5 - 64" height, 30.5 - 32" chest, and 28 - 29.5" waist for shirts and 32 - 33.5" hip and 29.75 - 31" inseam for bottoms.
?: Thank you, love. Everything will be ready for you two when you get home. Oh, and call me when you find out his favorite movie so I can decorate his room.
L: Okay, love, I will.
?: Ok, I'll let you go so I can get started.
L: Ok, love. Bye.
?: Bye

CALL END

When I ended the call I saw that Luke was starring at Winter in wonder. "Is he really half witch?" He asked. I just nodded my head and looked at Winter. "When I got him earlier, he was making a barrier around the house. and was doing a good job of it until I stepped through and he fell. I caught him, he ran and told the others, I found him again and saw him release a scythe, yes a scythe, and the rest you know." I told him while stroking Winter's cheeks making him move his head to nuzzle my hand. I chuckled and moved him into a more comfortable position.

"We need to go to the doctor's to get him a checkup, go sign Winter in as my baby, and get him the chip for tracking," I said looking out the window. Luke just laughed and patted my shoulder.

Well, this will be interesting.
