Michelle and Ned were watching Peter and Y/N chat excitedly to each other. The two had been inseparable since the start of the week.
"So, was it a good idea to ditch them on Friday?" Ned asked Michelle.
"Yes." Michelle nodded solemnly. "See? They're closer now."
"Hm, I think it's more than that." Ned mused as Peter and Y/N laced their fingers together and squeezed each other's hand. Michelle laughed quietly. "You're a genius."
"Ooh, I know."
The two grew silent again as they watched Peter and Y/N laugh together.
"Are they together now?" Ned asked again. Michelle shrugged with a smile.
"I don't know. Peter and I dating was never really a thing. They can be together if you like, or just really, really good friends."
Ned snorted slightly. He paused. "Wait. How did they not find out their identities sooner? Spiderman and Peter have the same acrobatic skills and voice. Anima and Y/N had the same voice and attitude with the sarcasm, did she not?"
"People are blind."
