He Saved Me

Athena POV

"What?" I asked confused as I looked at him.

"Yeah, I'm your father" he said again.

"How are you my father when my father is somewhere in Ruth?" I asked still looking at him.

"Well" he looked around, "come, I'll tell you the story" he said and started walking with me and everyone followed him.

He sat down at a table far away from everyone.

We sat down and faced Brian.

"Okay, so, it was back when Allison (her moms name) was pregnant with you. We were so happy when we found out she was pregnant. We told all our friends that she was pregnant after we went to the hospital to see if it is true. 7-8 months after finding out. She met Steve, she started to fall in love with him slowly the more he was around. So we started arguing more and more everyday. So we split up, I was devastated I still loved her and she just got up and left me for that man" he said sadly and angrily.

"So after she left me I never seen her again and I never got to meet you" he said sadly.

I looked at him.

"All my life I've been calling him dad until I was 5 not knowing that he's not my dad and that me real dad is out there somewhere in the world" I said with tears In my eyes.

"Most of my life I've been beaten to where I don't know if I'm gonna live or not" I said.

"What?" He asked.

"Since I was 5 Steve has been abusing me and mom. But I would always stand in front of mom and take that beatings. She would always try and protect me and take the beating for me but I wouldn't let her. So when I was 12 I think I came home from school to see my mom no where and Steve came in and told me that we won't have to worry about her anymore" I said crying.

"Then he beat me to where I could hardly breath" I said.

"I wish I would have fought to see you. Because if i did, I would have taken you and your mother away from that douche bag" he said crying.

I grabbed his hand.

"Its not your fault" I said, he shook his head.

"Yes it is, if I would have tried to see you, you wouldn't have gone through that. That bastard would be dead bout time I got done with him" he said angrily, not at me, but at himself.

And Steve.

I got up and hugged him and he hugged me back. I pulled away and looked at him.

I have his eyes, that's all I have of him, the rest of my features are my moms.

I wiped the rest of my tears and smiled.

"Okay, let's do something together so we can end this sadness before I cry some more" Mable said as she sniffed.

I looked at her and she wiped the tears she had going down her face away.

I laughed.

"Yeah, what should-" I was cut off by a gasp, I looked and seen Mel had her hand over her mouth.

"If he is your dad and he is our Uncle, then that makes you" Mel said.

"Our COUSIN" Mable said, the girls looked at each other and squealed.

I laughed.

"Yeah I guess so. Anyway what do y'all want to do" I said.

Before they could answer, someone spoke.
