Diamond's POV

4 Months later

"Diamond do you have all your things ready?"

"Yeah mom, everything is in the trunk"

Today is the day Sam, Noah, and I move to our apartment condo in New York. My mom and dad are pretty emotional right now while Ruby hasn't said a word. She hasn't talked in days. She's been crying all night for the past two weeks. I think the reality of us leaving for college didn't set in until a couple of weeks ago.

I had to sleep with her for those weeks so she wouldn't cry. In the day Ruby, Sam, Noah, Rose, Chris, and I would spend time together. We went to carnivals, shopping, go- kart racing, paintballing, and more. Everyday we went somewhere new.

Sam and Noah got full sport scholarships to NYU, all 4 years are already paid for. I also got into NYU with a full scholarship.

Rose and Chris both are going to Berkeley. They decided to go to stay in Cali rather then going out of state. They left about 3 hours ago. Chris cried like a baby. He even forgave me for making him eat a worm in fourth grade.

Even though my parents and grandparents hated it, I decided to bring Miracle with me. Sam's maid from when he was little will watch over Miracle while Sam and I are at school. Everything is pretty much taken care of.

Miracle was sadly already asleep in the back seat of my car so everyone had to lightly kiss her forehead or hug her softly.

We had just came from Sam's house where I said goodbye to his parents and Katherine. I'm going to miss them. I'm gonna miss his mom's cooking even more.

"I'm gonna miss my little girl"

"Guys I'll visit you whenever I can. I'm not leaving forever"

"I'm going to miss you guys very much" Ruby said as she began sobbing.

Noah, Sam, and I pulled her in a bone crushing hug. She's only been my sister for a few months and now I have to leave her. By the time she's in college we'll be on our last year.

"Diamond your flight leaves in about 1 hour"

"Ruby I will miss you so so much"

Noah said as he cried on Ruby's shoulder. He has been crying on her shoulder for about half an hour. He wouldn't let go of her, he was literally glued to her.

"Alright guys, it's time to go"

I nodded my head and pulled away. I said one last bye to everyone and got in the car with Sam. Tears were running down my face as I watched my family disappeared.

Mom, dad, Ruby, my grandparents. They all mean a lot to me. It hurts me saying bye to them. Even though I don't feel good about leaving them I had to move on to the next chapter of my life. I can't stay home forever, I have to leave the nest.

Sam grabbed my hand and squeezed it. He rubbed my knees as I tried to calm down. I know he's just trying to be strong.

Sam cried like a baby when it came to saying bye to his family. He was literally on his knees begging his mom to make him stay.

Once Katherine said bye she ran straight to Sam's room. Katherine of course was already taking measurements of his room so she can turn it into her dance studio.

She even fixed a little corner of his room for her and Brandon to have their play dates. I feel like she already had everything planned out.

"Sam do you think we're ready for New York?"
