IMPORTANT AUTHORS NOTE AT THE END!!, PLEASE READ!!
Keith's POV
Pidge and walked a reasonable pace down the hallway. "Mind telling me what the fuck you plan on doing", I asked her rudely. She rolled her eyes. "My part is rather simple, the tricky part depends on Lance", Pidge replied. "Wait what do you mean", I questioned. She faced me and held up what looked like a rather small hard drive without the tip. "I uploaded all the pictures I could find of all of us onto this mind-drive. All I have to do is insert it into Lance's ear. It will latch onto his brain and project the images into his mind. However, it depends on whether or not his brain excepts it. If it doesn't we may lose Lance forever, however if it does, Lance should be as good as new."
"There is no way this could kill him right?", I asked uncertainly. She shook her head. "Nope. But there is a problem. Lance doesn't trust us enough to put this thing into his ear.", she explained. "Why don't we just put him into a healing pod? Then we could use the tubes to put it in."
"That actually might work!", Pidge replied excitedly. She grabbed my forearm and practically pulled me down the hallway. "OW PIDGE LET GO", I screamed. She jumped back quickly, surprised at my outburst. "What's wrong I just touched your arm", she questioned. "I- uh..." Her eyes widened and I could see the wheels turning in her head.
"Keith show me your arm."
"No!", I hissed pulling down my sleeve.
"KEITH KOGANE YOU SHOW ME YOUR GODDAMN ARM RIGHT NOW!"
I jumped back as tears filled my eyes and I held out my arm. Pidge pulled up my sleeve and gasped in horror. The white bandages that covered my lower forearm were soaked through with blood. "Keith why didn't you tell me", she said sadly. I wiped the tears from my cheeks and said, "I'm sorry. I-I just felt h-hopeless without L-Lance and I didn't w-want you to think I was w-weak."
Pidge hugged my tightly and said, "Come on. Looks like Lance won't be the only one in a healing pod today."
We hurried to Lance's room. Pidge literally broke the door down. Like she physically kicked it down. We grabbed Lance and dragged him to Coran who helped us shove him into a pod. He protested, but gave up eventually. Then, Pidge showed my arm to Coran who frowned sadly and shoved me into a healing pod next to Lance. No one's POV
The rest of the team eventually showed up on the deck. They waited impatiently outside of Lance's pod as the mind-drive was ejected into him. "What happens now?", Shiro questioned. Pidge's face was blank. "Now we hope and pray that Lance is willing to remember us."Hey hey hey guys, I have some news. I am going to sleep away camp, for 6 weeks and I won't be able to update any chapters. We have no WiFi and no electronics are allowed. I'm leaving Saturday so this will most likely be the last chapter before I leave. I will finish the book but there just won't be any updates for 2 months basically. Sorry to everyone who reads and enjoys this book. Also, sorry this was a shorter chapter but I really wanted to get one in before I leave so....
Once again sorry for the lack of an update. That's all for now. I hope you enjoyed the chapter even though it was tiny. Peace out ✌️
Ps I kinda got lazy at the end 😐
