Maka's POV

I woke up to see Soul still asleep with a grin on his face. He was holding onto me, still completely naked from last nights events. I was in one of his over sized shirts and that's it, snuggling up to him. I smile thinking of how gentle he was when I was hurting and how good he made me feel after it stopped hurting. I kissed his nose as his eyes flutter open.

"Good morning beautiful" He said with a smile.

"Morning my love" I reply as he gave me a small peck. He sat up and grabbed his boxers from the floor, putting it on.

"Should we skip school today?" He asked looking back at me.

"No, but we did wake up an hour early. Can we cuddle before we have to get up?" I asked in a child like voice. He chuckled before he laid back down beside me. 

"I love you Soul" I say wrapping my arms around him again pulling him closer.

"I love you more babe" he said placing his arm around my waist.

"What the hell is going on here!" The voice of someone I never thought knew the location of my appointment. Soul and I part in surprise as we sit up to look at my father.

"Umm...." Soul pauses not sure what to say, "I'm not gonna lie, what ever you think happened, happened"

"Soul!" I say as I slapped his arm. The rage in my fathers eyes grew from that statement. That didn't stop Soul from getting up and going to find his pants.

"First you go on a mission, not bothering to call afterward now I come here to check on you two and find you half naked in bed with my daughter! I should kill you boy!" Papa yelled in rage as he started to run towards Soul. Soul didn't seem the least bit phased by it though. Before my father did something incredibly stupid, I got up and stepped between them.

"Papa stop, it wasn't his idea anyway. Thank you for checking on us but we're fine. So please head back to the the school, I'll see you later, bye" I say pushing my father out of the room and into the hall.

"What do you mean it wasn't his idea? I'm a guy too, I know how they think you can't fool me" Papa protested, trying to get back into the room.

"First, I'm a grown woman, I can handle myself. Second Soul is nothing like you and would never pressure me into doing something I didn't want to do. We agreed to do what we did as a couple" I say pushing my father out of our appointment. When I got him out the door he looked at me with defeat. He knew I was right, he knew he needed to stop treating me like a child. He let out a sigh and walked away without a word. There was a part of me that felt bad, but the other part of me knew that I was an adult and could do what I wanted. Plus the fact that Soul and I have been together for so long, there's no way he could end it now without people asking questions. I'm proud of the decision that I have made, because I know that Soul wants the same out of this relationship as I do, marriage. After being with Soul for this long I thought papa would understand that. I let out a sigh and rested my head on that door.

"You okay, Maka?" Soul said and he placed his arm around me. I turn my body to face him and hide my face in his bare chest.

"Yeah, I'm okay. We should get ready though." I reply not moving my head. He let out a sigh, knowing that I was no longer in the mood for cuddles.

"Go and have a bath babe, I'll make breakfast" he said removing his arms and walked to the kitchen. I took a short bath not wanting my food to get cold or anything like that. I got dressed in my typical "school girl" uniform like outfit. It of course changed over the years, the skirt is longer and I had to get a new trench coat and better boots, but same basic concept. I did my hair in a messy bun not really wanting to do anything else with it. I walked out to the kitchen and was greeted by the amazing smell of French toast, eggs and bacon. He was already sitting down at the table eating, with my plate right across from him.

"Thank you Soul" I say as I sit down next to him. He looks up and smiles before going back for another bite of bacon.

"We gotta hurry, Lord Death just called with a mission for us" He announced. I ate as fast as I could and we were out on our way for go defeat a kishin egg.

Sorry for the late update, I've had the worst writers block in the world. I'm planning on getting back into this book and updating more often. I just haven't had time since I started high school. I have no school at all this week so I'm gonna try and get something out for this book. Be patient please.
