Before starting this chapter, I want to say I wrote this chapter before Rosie's passing. She was a great dog to the Wolfhard family, and she will be deeply missed❤️

"Fetch," The green ball goes flying, while Y/N's dog tries to catch it in mid-air, but ultimately fails. Y/N starts to laugh at her crazy dog, as Y/D/N starts to get back up to get the ball that's still moving. As Y/N starts to calm down, she see's her dog with another dog, fighting over the green ball. Y/n quickly runs over to the two dogs, as her dog gets the green ball. 

"Be careful Y/D/N, bad dog," Y/N scolds, but Y/D/N doesn't seemed bothered, because he/she was too distracted chewing the ball. "What's your name?" The dog had a collar with a bone tag on it. The girl looked at the collar, as she read 'Rosie'. Y/N leans down to Rosie's level, and starts to rub around her ears, "Rosie. Such a pretty name for a pretty dog,"

Rosie starts to roll on her stomach, indicating where she wanted to be rubbed. Out of the corner of Y/N's eye, she saw a tall curly haired boy who was coming at them slowly. He carried the similar looking green ball that Y/D/N had, but was stolen by her own dog.

"Rosie!" Y/N heard a voice yell, clearly coming towards both are the girls. Y/N studied his facial features, and thought 'He isn't bad looking at all'. "Rosie, where have you been girl?" The boy says leaning down to rub her behind the ears. "Sorry for the trouble, hope she didn't do anything," The boy got up from the 'rub session', and was now looking you in the eye.  "She wasn't any trouble, she's a lovely dog," Y/N leans down to go face-to-face with Rosie, "I'll miss you Rosie." Y/N smiled at the dog, as Rosie leans in and starts to lick her face. The girl backs away, giggling, while she sees the boy's face turn into a grin.

"What's your name?" Y/N questions, as she stands up facing him, turning his cheeks pink for an unknown reason. "Finn," He shyly tucks a curl behind his ear, as Y/N reaches her hand out and says, "Y/N." Suddenly Y/N makes eye contact with Finn, and gets lost in his eyes. "This is Y/D/N," Breaking the silence, Y/N points to her dog, which looks up dumbfounded still lost in the green ball he/she "won".

They both giggle, as awkward silence fills up the air. "So me and Rosie still have time, do you maybe want to hang out, while our dogs play together?" Breaking the silence, Y/N says sure with a warm smile. Between the throws of the green ball, Y/N and Finn started talking about normal stuff like, school, family, and more that Y/n can "remember".

"Fetch," Finn yells throwing the green ball far, as we continue our conversation. "So this is what I basically do on the weekend, I don't go outside as often as I sho-," Y/N was cut off by Rosie running straight into her legs, causing Y/N to stumble backwards, but was thankfully caught by Finn. Finn held Y/N in his arms for a few minutes, and something told Y/N to lean in and so she did. She could also tell that Finn was leaning in too by there noses touching, making them breathe in the same air. Their lips were so close together, until Y/N felt some liquid substance on her cheek. It caused them both to step back from each other. It turns out that Rosie licked Finn's cheek.

"Ugh Rosie," Finn wiped his cheek that was covered in a thin layer of saliva, and shook his head. "Sorry, she kinda ruined the moment," Finn chuckled and looked down, as Y/N chuckled at the same time. "It's fine, I have to go anyways," Walking away, Finn ran up to the two, and suddenly smashed his lips against hers. "When will I see you again," Finn asked with hope in his eyes. "Is tomorrow good?" Y/N asked, as Finn quickly shook his head up and down. "See you tomorrow then," Y/N leaned in and kissed his cheek that wasn't covered in saliva, and went home, as Finn watched her walking in the distance, while mumbling to his dog,

"I told you to fetch, and you brought me a girl. Best dog ever."
