I slipped on some black vans as well as grabbed both my wallet, phone, and earbuds. I plugged my ears and soon, music was swelling around me, helping to relax my anxieties. I quietly slipped out of my room and closed the door. I had made sure to leave my window open a bit, in case I stayed out longer than expected. I had almost become an expert at sneaking in and out of my house late at night to go to Stark's Pond. Staring at the clear sky and the reflection in the water made me feel a bit calmer and more peaceful.
I slipped down the stairs without making a sound and out the front door. Even if my parents weren't home, I still wanted to be extra careful at what I did. The smallest mistake would leave me wearing makeup for a few weeks. I opened the front door and was immediately hit with the smell of fresh air. I breathed it in and a small smile graced my lips.
I hadn't genuinely smiled in such a long time that it was almost bittersweet. I went on my way, walking slowly around the small town, looking for something to do to take my mind off of my endless drifting. I felt my smile grow slightly larger at the fact that no one I knew was around, and that I could look out into space with a clear mind and music to bob my head to.
My legs carried me around for awhile, until I ended up at a place right next door to my work. It looked new, with a fresh coat of paint and gleaming windows. It even had a homey little bench sat outside it. All of which had the same monogram of TB's Coffee. I was slightly intrigued. I looked up to see a painted sign.
Tweek Bros. Coffee.
I turned my music down a little bit, and mulled over whether I was thirsty for a coffee or not.
I decided on yes, and quietly walked inside the 'Push to Open' double doors. I looked around to take in my surroundings. There were a few clean tables scattered around the place, giving it an open cafeteria type of feeling. There were plenty of bright red chairs, but the best thing about the entire store was how nice and warm it felt. It was like a nice cozy cottage, full of happiness and love.
I pulled out my phone and skipped a few songs, landing on one that always made me tap my foot. I then proceeded to read the menu options, my eyes landing on a black coffee. A few questions ran through my mind before I approached the counter.
Would I be drinking later tonight?
Probably.
Would I need to sneak a coffee back home to dull the hangover.
Most likely.
Did I have a slight problem.
Hell yes.
I approached the counter, smile already gone.
I then realized that no one was there. Well, until a small figure poked there head up from behind the counter.
"Y-yikes. Sorry about that sir. What can I g-get you this f-fine evening?" the blond boy said with pure boredom edging his voice.
"One large black coffee, please." I said, taking in his appearance.
He seemed to be around my age, only a lot bit shorter. He had spiky, messy blond hair and bright green eyes that twinkled with enthusiasm.
Well, partly. Right now he mostly seemed bored out of his mind.
So, I decided to make small talk, because anything that kept me away from the shadows of my bedroom sounded way better then going home.
"How long has this shop been here?" I asked, avoiding eye contact.
I looked up, only to see his eyes boring into mine. He gave me a soft smile.
"O-only been open for a few hours, but you're welcome to coffee any time." he said, handing me a cup and taking my money that somehow appeared from my wallet.
He had said that sentence fairly quietly, but it somehow made me smile back.
"What's your name?" I asked, averting my gaze again. Cut me some slack. New people terrified me. The blond gave me a funny smirk, before pointing to his name tag.
Oh.
Well, I felt stupid.
"S-sorry." I stuttered before looking down, and backing away slowly.
"Nah, it's a-alright. What about y-you cuti-uh, s-sir?' he said, losing all confidence and looking at the floor.
I smiled softly up at him, before replying.
"Tucker. Craig Tucker."

Heya! Oh my gosh, it took me ages to write this chapter. I was basically listening to music and scrolling through Instagram again. I was also squealing at Tamaytka's drawing of Kenny because holy crap, I have the biggest fan girl crush on him. Anyway, I'll start working on Chapter 2! I think I'm going to be writing most of this in Craig's PoV, as well as making Tweek a bit more outgoing then most fics. Until next time!
