"What legends?" my voice cracked, and Molly hugged me.
"Look it up for yourself, and you might be pleased." Molly said, and she plopped down on her bed. Ayla pulled out her phone, and started to use it as I took a needed break. I knew every player on the team, I just wanted to look them up like she suggested.
I look up "FC Barcelona team" on google, and I saw an article that caught my eye, "Barcelona foward Neymar Jr. and girlfriend on the rocks?" I wanted to click it, because the title made me interested.
Slightly happy, but interested for the most part.
"Hey, what do you think about ditching the paper, and going to a party?" Ayla suggested, and I glanced back at the computer, quickly exiting out of the internet so she wouldn't see. I thought about it, and I decided to stay sober and tackle it once I got back.
"You can forget about Andrew transferring for a little while." Molly chimed in, and I nodded, liking the idea.
I wouldn't skip doing a paper usually, but I needed this right now. Maybe I was fit to be that college girl who ends up doing something else in life than what she actually wanted to do. I had to accept that it wouldn't always work out my way.
"Taylor said something about a party earlier, who's hosting?" I asked them as I shut my laptop.
"Who cares who's hosting, I just wanna get my freak on." Molly said in a joking tone while hip thrusting. I chuckled, and I found something to wear. Just simple black knee length dress.
"It's at one of the sorority houses, I think." Ayla said, and I groaned. That meant that there would be lots of frat boys too. Unless they were having their own party tonight. "Meet us outside by 11!" she reminded, I checked the time, 10:40pm. Just enough time to read the article while getting dressed.
I found that the clock was wrong once I finished putting on that hassle of a dress. I ran outside in my flats, letting my hair down. It was cool outside, as we hailed for a taxi. We argued over who would pay the fare, and I ended up breaking up the petty argument by paying the ten dollars owed.
I never had taken the time to go to sorority parties, I've gone to 3 frat parties. Once I walked in, I saw no difference, and a lot of people. We went to the kitchen, and Ayla immediately went to the tequila. I couldn't hold back the guilty feeling of underaged drinking, and I stayed sober.
For ten minutes.
Sooner or later, I was complaining to anyone who would listen. I found myself talking to a few frat boys who were listening intently. I continued on with my story of how I couldn't stop being jealous of my brother, and how he has secrets like us all, but bad ones.
"Hey, isn't that the one being transferred to Barcelona's team?" a tan one asked, and I nodded. "I prefer Real Madrid, sorry." he said, and I narrowed my eyes at him. I was about to say something, but it felt as if my stomach was doing flips.
"Excuse me for a minute." I ran to find a bathroom, and I resorted to running outside and throwing up on the lawn. Someone came and held my hair, and I knew it was Molly who was. I started to cry, and I didn't care who saw. "I thought tonight was supposed to help me forget."
"Forget what?" Molly slurred, and I cried harder, making me throw up again.
"The fact that I'm gonna be a biochemist and I absolutely can't stand that? I should be on the field, and it should be me who's succeeding! Not that cheating idiot, Andrew!" I cried.
"Alana, your brother is on espn!" I heard someone shout. I glared in the direction it came from and stood up. I walked back into the sorority house, and looked at the flat screen tv. I saw my brother doing a press conference as usual, and he was grinning and laughing. I couldn't stand him being happy, and I crossed my arms.
"Aw! Is Alana jealous?" one girl shouted, and I heard laughing. Molly slung an arm around me, and rubbed my arm.
"It's only Kaylen, ignore her." she whispered as my eyes stayed trained on the tv. They were showing highlights of Barcelona's last season, and a certain player caught my eyes.
Neymar Da Silva Santos Jùnior.
I smiled at the tv, and it was as if I forgot all of my problems for a minute. Then it showed him going to his girlfriend to hug her, and my frown returned. I turned around and pushed through the crowd to get far away from the tv.

"We're playing truth or dare, come play with us!" Ayla yelled, and I furrowed my eyebrows. What is this- middle school? A few people persuaded me to come over, and it was Molly's turn.
"Alana," she smirked, I could only imagine what was going through her twisted mind, "I dare you to go out of your comfort zone." she said simply, and I was confused.
"What kind of dare is that?" someone asked, and Molly kept her eyes on me.
"You feel like a fail? Don't worry, I want you to get revenge." She was drunk, but I knew this was really Molly talking.
"Continue..." Ayla said, putting a heiniken to her lips.
"Oh she knows." Molly said quietly. "I'll be back, who wants another beer?" she asked, and a few people said yes. "Come on Alana, Ayla, help me carry some." she stood up as we followed.
"Okay," I frowned, "what is this about?" she grabbed a beer from the cooler,
"This is about you reclaiming your status back." she smiled. "What if you and Andrew traded places?" we cackled, and I shook my head.
"What is this? The parent trap?" I jokingly said.
"No, your parents don't wanna get back together, so it wouldn't work haha." Ayla said as we laughed some more.
"What if I'm serious? You two are the boy and girl versions of each other." I thought about it for a minute,
"How would I achieve this?" I asked her,
"Blackmail." Ayla chuckled darkly. "Take his place and no one will notice or even care." she smirked.
"Hold on for a minute." I said to them as I went into the main room where everything was happening. I was trying to sober up my thoughts.
Did I really want to do this out of spite and utter want to feel successful? There was a Barcelona Woman's team, I could join that. Something about making Andrew suffer just seemed enticing to me, though.
Wait, college!
What would my mother and father think of me suddenly not going to school anymore? Would I still be relevant to them? I wouldn't want to hurt them so much, especially my mother, I've been living with her since she and my dad split. Would I miss this if I returned to what I loved? I surveyed my surroundings for an answer.
A couple making out on the couch. A sweaty grinding train in the center of the room. Some girl was throwing up in a pot. A brawl between member's of two different sorority sisters, which was being watched by a lot of people, and a few guys playing beer pong.
Then I got my answer.

"Cross your heart Ana?" Molly asked me once I got back to her.
"Cross it and hope to be exposed." I grinned. Molly pat my back with a smile,
"Ah superstition. I called a taxi for you and it's waiting outside." she said, and I hugged her. I was tired, but my mind was set on other things.
"Okay bye!" I ran out as quickly as I could. I asked the lady who was driving to take me somewhere. I didn't know where I asked her to until I came faced to face with my brother.
