Shape of His Heart (complete)

(Several months have passed since the 4th shinobi war ended. All the leaf shinobi are fixing their homes and rebuilding the village one step at a time)

Naruto slowly wakes up to an early morning rise and hears birds singing through his window. After looking at the time, he smiles and is pleased that he has time to freshen up and not be rushed.

'I don't feel tired, I must have had a good night's rest'

He heads to the bathroom and stops in-front of the mirror and touches his body wounds.

'looks like I'm completely healed, wow that took a while to heal, this arm also looks as good as new'

He has been very thankful for how Lady Tsunade came through very quickly in giving him a new arm and the operation was a success from the start.

As the shower is warming up, he grabs the clothes he is going to wear for the day.

'Note to self, do laundry tonight, or else I will be going commando tomorrow' the blue-eyed boy chuckles to himself as he grabs his last pair of clean underwear from the drawer.

As the hot water is drizzling on his blonde hair and strong muscular body, he is in deep thought, thinking about all the life changing events that have taken place these past few months, both in the Leaf village and in his own life.

One reoccurring thought or person that has been playing over and over in his mind, is Hinata and the selfless act she showed during the pain fight and the 4th Shinobi war.

'Hinata... why me.... wow Hinata, you almost died...for me' He is confused on how he is feeling, but he likes this new sensation when he thinks of Hinata and says her name.

He turns of the shower, and changes into his clothes and then walks to the kitchen to grab a bite to eat.

As he opens the fridge he realizes he will need to make a market trip later.

'Change of plans, ramen It is' the blue-eyed boy grabs his gear and then heads to the front door of his apartment.

As he is walking out he sees Iruka Sensei walking towards him.

"Hello Iruka, what brings you here this time of day" shouts Naruto as he is turning the key to lock the front door.

"Hello Naruto, I am glad you are up early, I stopped by to remind you about our meeting later today" Iruka stares at Naruto, hoping he did not forget.

"oh...yeah...thanks for reminding me, I will see you here at 3pm" the blonde smiles and starts walking but is stopped again by one last comment Iruka had for him.

"by the way, today we will be working on table manners, it might sound silly, but it's important" They both smile in agreement and go their separate ways.

Narrator POV

(After the war, Naruto has been feeling a desire to grow as a man, since he realizes he still has tendencies of being very childish and carefree. Also, he realizes there is more to being a man then just saving a village, he asked his Sensei's to help him get better at this adult stuff, especially since he had no parents to guide him, he can use all the help he can get. Naruto walks to get ramen, on his way a lovely purple haired beauty catches his eye, she is bent over with her hands on her knees talking to a group of kids in front of Ino's Flower shop. He feels an urge to approach her but decides to stay put and observe from a distance.)
