Wild Thoughts (Shaylivia)

Olivia:

Me and Noah walked outside in front of the office. We start down on a bench in front of the building.

"What's going on Olivia?" Noah asks me

"If I tell you something can you keep it a secret?" I ask looking him in the eyes.

"Of course" he says.

"I... I.. Im the one who likes Shayne" I say.

He looks at me with suprise in his eyes.

"Really?" He asks

"Yeah but thats not all" I say.

"What?" He says confused again.

"Courtney also likes him" I say.

"Oh...." He says.

"Is that why you're crying?" He asks

"Partly, I guess" I sigh.

"What's the other part?" He asks.

".. Courtney has been acting like a total bitch to me, she keeps saying I'm ugly and that Shayne would never like me" I confess.

"What!?" He says sounding mad.

"Olivia don't listen to her, you are beautiful" Noah says.

"Aww thanks Noah" I say hugging him.

"As for Shayne, I know that he wouldn't be happy to hear about Courtney doing this to you. I know he cares for you" Noah says.

"He does?" I ask

"Of course he does, he cares for all of us" Noah says

"Oh" I say a little disappointed

"If you want I can help you out though" He says.

"No, don't tell Shayne, it would make him sad, he and Courtney are friends." I say.

"Ugh fine.. but I can still help you out though" he says

"Wait really? How?" I say

"I can talk to Shayne about how he feels about you, and see if I can set you up" Noah says.

"He's gonna see right through that Noah" I tell him.

"I can slip it into conversations here and there so it wouldn't be obvious" he says.

"Really? You would do that?" I say happy.

"Of course I would, you're one of my closest friends Olivia" he says.

I hug Noah tight again. He is such an amazing friend to me.

"Thank you Noah" I say.

"It's what I do" He jokes.

We sat on the bench for some more time talking before going back inside. We walk back inside and sit down at our desks. I felt much better about myself and my situation with Courtney after talking to Noah.

"Oh, hey guys, where'd you run off to?" Shayne asks.

"Just went for a walk" Noah says.

"Cool, well anyways Keith is looking for you in the break room Olivia, he said he needs help with something" Shayne says.

"Ok thanks" I say while walking towards the break room

I see Keith looking in the mirror. I nudge him in the back.

"What's up Keith?" I ask.

"Which hat should I wear Liv Liv?" He says pulling two hats off the counter.

One hat is tan and wide while the other is a black trucker cap.

"The tan one is pretty cool" I say.

"Thanks Olivia" he says while putting the tan hat on.

Keith and I walk back to the office together. When Noah sees Keith's hat he starts to make fun of it. Everyone is laughing at Noah and Keith arguing again. For the rest of the day we finish our work. We all get ready to leave.

"Bye guys" I say as I walk out the door.

"Bye" They all say as they also leave.

I get in my car and drive home feeling good and confident in myself. I get home and heat up my dinner and start to watch tv That's when I get a text from Shayne.

-Shayne-
hey I think I left my charger at your place. Can I swing by and pick it up?

I quickly text back.

-Sure

I feel my phone buzz again.

-Thanks. I'll be there in 10

I put my phone down and start to look for his charger.
