Chapter 17

"So that's it? We just walk out? No fighting? No threatening? No nothing? I came along for a good show." Ceil leaned against the window with his chin in his hand.

"Yea, I thought you and Claude would put up a fight. I'm shocked as well." I stared at Sebastian.

"Yes, but I didn't want to make a big deal about it. He is planning something, and I know it. I want to find out what before more drama like this happens." Sebastian was staring out the window along with Ceil.

I started to daydream, I thought about what I said to Alois. Claude and everyone seemed shocked. But why? Yea he was a noble, but he needed some scince knocked into him. Why is he like that? That maid never did anything to him to make her get beat up. I didn't I didn't understand.

~Time Pass~

I woke up with a jolt.

I fell asleep, when? Must have been when I was daydreaming.

"It's alright, we just hit a bump." Sebastian let me lay my head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arm around me.

"Owe!"

"What the hell was that!?" I look through the back window and see a man lying on the ground. "We hit someone!" I opened the side door looking back I was about to yell at them but Sebastian pulled me back in.

"Don't do that! You could fall out!"

"Sebastian I appreciate your concern, but he just hit someone!"

"Yes, we did. But it is better if we leave him alone."

"Why would we do that!?" At that moment something jumped on the carriage roof. "What the hell!?"

"OH BASSY HOW RUDE OF YOU TO RUN ME OVER LIKE THAT!"

It was of corse, the one and only Grell. He opened the door and popped his head in. His long red hair falling almost touching the ground. His face turning red as the blood rushed to his head. He was looking at us upside down.

"I just came to see if ______ was alright! After I herd that she was taken by that Claude demon, I went looking for her. And then you ran me over with the carriage!"

"Actually Grell you ran into the carriage. You didn't get run over by it." Sebastian said.

"Hmph, and to not even stop. You aren't good at this loving thing are you?" Sebastian just sighed and Grell looked over at me. "_______! YOU ARE ALIVE!" He jumped in the carriage closing the door as be ran up to me.

"Yes Grell, it's good to see you too." I said while trying to breathe as he squeezed the life out of me. He let me go and sat between Sebastian and me.

"What is this freak doing here?" Ceil looked at Grell.

"And what is that suppose to mean? You already have all the good men, what do what know?"

"I just want to know why you came inside my carriage without an invitation."

"So see ______ and Bassy of course."

Grell wrapped his arms around my waist, but not as hard, and rested his head on my shoulder. Sebastian gave him a glare, but still hugged me.

"So, Grell. You found me, don't you have to get back to work?"

"Nope! Ronald covered my hours for me so I could find you! And now that I did, I have one more day off!" Ceil moaned.

"Oh, so you have today and tomorrow?"

"Yep!" I let out a small yeay from under my breath.

It wasn't that I didn't like him. I like him a lot it's just. He gets a little but annoying after a while. I'm sure Madam Red would understand. I love the guy but, *sigh* why do having friends have to be so complicated.

Sebastian: "For making that grim reaper be in pain. Too bad I didn't make it, and he has his hands all over my darling."
