HEXED ; got7 [HIATUS]

Jaebum wandered through the quiet library, his eyes searching the shelves for a certain book.

He had been looking for nearly thirty minutes now, and he still hadn't found it. He needed it to finish his Herbology paper, and if he didn't find it soon, he was going to run out of time to write his essay.

He groaned in frustration, rubbing his head and peering at the bookshelf in front of him. He was about to give up and go ask the librarian if he could use a spell to find the book when a small, questioning voice came from behind him.

"Uh, do you need some help?"

Jaebum whipped around, surprised. There, a boy in a blue tie stood, a questioning smile on his lips.

"Oh, uh...", Jaebum trailed off. He scratched his head, feeling his face heat up. "Um, yes please."

The Ravenclaw smiled again, shifting his books under one arm. "What are you looking for?"

"Herbology 101", Jaebum answered. The Ravenclaw nodded.

"Follow me."

Jaebum followed the other boy through the aisles, his eyes trained on his back. He faintly recognized him from a few of his classes, and he guessed they were probably in the same year.

"Here you go", the Ravenclaw said, pulling a book off of the shelf and handing it to Jaebum. He took it gratefully and gazed down at the other boy.

"Could...could I possibly get your name?", Jaebum asked.

"Oh, right, of course! My name is Mark", the boy introduced himself. Jaebum gulped.

He...he's cute.

"And what's your name?", Mark asked, tilting his head to the side. Jaebum's cheeks heated up and he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Jaebum."

Mark hummed. "I think we have History of Magic together."

Right. That's where he recognized him from.

"Y-Yeah", Jaebum stuttered. Mark smiled and his heart beat impossibly harder.

"Well, good luck! I guess I'll see you tomorrow in class", Mark replied, turning away. Jaebum nodded.

"Bye."

And then he was gone, his robe trailing behind him as he walked down the aisle. Jaebum buried his burning face in his hands almost as soon as he was gone.

God, Mark was cute.

"I hate this stupid essay", Jackson groaned, tossing a newly crumpled paper onto the floor.

They were in the Gryffindor common room, working on their essay that was due tomorrow. Jaebum glanced up at his friend and snorted.

"It's not my fault if you fail."

Jackson glared at Jaebum darkly. "Shut up."

Jaebum turned back to his paper, chuckling softly. His quill hovered over his parchment, and he sighed quietly.

He couldn't stop thinking about Mark.

He couldn't believe he hadn't noticed the boy sooner. Everything about him attracted Jaebum; his smile, the light in his eyes, the way he held himself. Plus, he was impossibly beautiful.

Jaebum let out a small groan and dropped his head on the table. Jackson looked over at him, confused.

"What's wrong with you?", Jackson asked. Jaebum flushed and turned his head away from his friend.

"Nothing", he mumbled, his voice muffled by the table. Jackson raised an eyebrow.

"Are you sure?"

Jaebum debated telling Jackson about the Ravenclaw he had met earlier that day. After Jackson had come out to him as bisexual a year ago, Jaebum had started thinking about his own sexuality and come to the conclusion that he was bi as well. Jackson had been the first, and only, person he had told.

Still, he didn't think he was ready to tell anyone just yet.

Jaebum sat up, clearing his emotions off of his face. "Yeah, I'm just stressed about this paper, and the Quidditch game on Saturday..."

Jackson snorted. "You're worried about the game? Since when does Im Jaebum, the Gryffindor Quidditch team's star player and captain, get nervous?"

Jaebum punched Jackson on the shoulder. "Hey, it's not easy leading the team. It's really stressful actually."

Jackson smiled comfortingly. "Yeah, I know. I'm just messing with you, man. You're doing really good, by the way."

Jaebum ducked his head in embarrassment. "Thanks."

"No problem, bro", Jackson replied. He grabbed a new piece of parchment and set it in front of himself. "Now let's finish this damn paper."
