Chapter 2

She walked towards him, and he feels weak. He wanted to say something, but he couldn't even utter a single word. He wanted to run, but his feet wouldn't take a single step.

Finally, she's in front of him.

"How many times do I have to tell you to shade yourself when it rains?" She started. Then she continued, "What, you wanted to be sick so that I'll take care of you?"

Not getting any reply, she chuckled. "Nana, even if you aren't sick, I'll take care of you, okay?" She smiled, fixing Jaemin's hair.

Mark was smiling from afar. Finally, two of the most special persons in his life are happy. His best friend, and his sister.

"Aren't they cute?" Jinhyung whispered.

"They look good together." Jaehyun added.

"I salute Jaemin for waiting months." Taeyong said.

"We all do," Mark replied.

The next day...

"Hey hey hey, where are you going?" Mark asked.

Haejin is once again staying at NCT Dream's dorm. Mark pleaded their manager to let Haejin stay at their dorm for a few months so that he could monitor his sister.

"Chill, I'm just going to the kitchen." Haejin answered, chuckling.

"Good morning, Haejin-ah!" The 00 liners, except for Jaemin, greeted her cheerfully.

"Good morning, Haejin!" Jisung and Chenle smiled at her.

"Good morning to you, too, guys!" She smiled.

She went to the kitchen and she saw Jaemin cooking their breakfast. Wow, he's the one cooking now? I'm impressed.

She hugged Jaemin from behind, he was startled. "Good morning Jaemin-ah!!" She smiled.

"Oh, it's you! For a second I thought it was Haechan!" He laughed. "Good morning too, Haejin-ah." He smiled.

She sat on one of the chairs, "Do you remember what day it is?" She smiled secretly.

Jaemin looked at her and gave her a questioning look, "Today's Sunday... right?"

Haejin frowned. Okay, he forgot.

Nevertheless, she just smiled, "R-Right..."

Jaemin turned his back and hid his smile. How could he forget this day?

"You're calling me casually... good to hear." Jaemin smiled.

"Well you told me to." She said, not giving Jaemin a single glance.

He frowned. Did she took that seriously?

"Haejin-ah can you call them? It's time to eat breakfast." Jaemin said. Haejin complied.

She went to the members and called them, "Everyone~ Let's eat!!"

"Oppa~ he forgot." Haejin whined.

They are inside their shared room.

Mark looked at her, "Forgot what, exactly?"

Haejin lied down on her bed, "About today."

"What's with todayㅡ oh... it's your anniversary am I right?" Mark asked.

Haejin sighed, "You even remembered."

"He's busy, Haejin-ah. Maybe the reason why he forgot?" Mark said, trying to convince her.

"Maybe..."

Jisung suddenly opened the door, "Haejin-ah, Jaemin-hyung is calling you."

"Jisung-ah how many times do I have to tell you to knock?!" Mark said. Jisung just ran outside.

Haejin wore her slippers and stood up, "What does he want now?"

She went to Jaemin's room and he saw clothes scattered on his bed.

"What is this? Why are there clothes scattered here?" Haejin asked.

Jaemin grabbed the hanger with a white polo and a hanger with a light blue polo. He held it in front of him and asked, "Which one do you like more?"

"What for?" She asked.

"Let's go out!" He smiled.

I thought he forgot... "Why? What's with today?"

"Haejin-ah," He placed the hangers on his bed and held Haejin's hands. Then he continued, "I just want to be with you. You've been asleep for months, I didn't had the chance to be with you... can we please go out? Do I have to tell Mark-hyung? He already knows." he pleaded.

Haejin sighed, "Fine, fine..." She smiled. Then she continued, "I like the blue one better. It suits you." She said, getting the blue polo from the bed and putting it in front of Jaemin.

"Make sure you wear something that would make people think that it's not you, okay?" Haejin said.

Jaemin nodded, "Yes, ma'am." He placed his hand near his eye, pretending to be a soldier.

Haejin laughed, "Whatever... I'll go get changed."

"Okay!"
