"¡Va!" I yelled at him to let go, and he tugged at it. I pulled it back, making him stumble foward.

"¡No!" he yelled, pulling it to his chest. I finally gave it one big pull, and he let go abruptly.

"Hm." I smirked at him. He started to cry, and I turned around to look at him. I immediately felt bad, "Aqui..." I held it out towards him. I could easily just go to another store. He sniffled, and he smiled very brightly.

"¡Gracias señora!" he took it gently, and ran to the cash register, cheering with his friends.

Some time passed and I sighed, putting the toes of my sneakers against the white tile. I bit the inside of my cheeks, staring at the empty rack of balls. I felt someone tap my shoulder, and I turned around.

"Very kind of you." he was a worker, and his accent was thick like Andrew's driver. "The season is starting, so every start before pre season, we make sure to have a sale for fùtbols." he smiled. "That kid only got the money today, and we had one more."

"Thank you." I sighed. "He deserves it more than I ever did." I said quietly.

"Okay, tell you what: I'll send you over to my friend. Tell him Julio sent you, he's on the next street over in the other spots shop." he pat my back. "Good luck." I thanked him and took off running.

"Here's a personalized one, just for you." Julio handed me a ball, and it felt right in my hands. "It was really nice of you to give him the last one." he pat my back.

"Thank you!" I gave him a one sided hug. "I gotta go." I paid for the ball, and left.

I ran and stood for a bus with other people. I sat down on a public bench, and held the ball by my side. I had a bit of change left, and I didn't know what it would be in euros.

I hummed to myself as I used my phone to scroll on twitter. I stopped at a sport's headline, 'New Barcelona Foward, Andrew Amero, with a new lady?'' I opened up the headline in a new tab, and then I saw a picture of me with my head facing down.

You couldn't see my face though, good.

"Amero's new lady puts her head down as she's too shy." a caption of a photo with me in it stated. I nearly choked on nothing, and earned a few stares from everyone.

"Ew." I said to myself. I leaned back, growing increasingly impatient with the bus. It finally arrived a few minutes later as I promised the bus driver that I would pay them back later, I was eager to arrive at my destination.

Once I saw the street, I stood up and pulled the lever. The bus slowed as it came to a full stop, I felt the excitement. I was finally going to where I belonged. I ran down the street, and towards Camp Nou.

I stared up at the stadium and stood there in awe.

Home.

It was closed, but I didn't care. I used to sneak into the stadiums to practice by myself, I knew that I could get caught, but I didn't care at all. I found a way into the lockerooms, and I grinned at the sights.

I would explore later, because I had something to do. I walked down hallways, and followed directions on signs until I saw the stairs that lead to the field.

I jogged, and then as soon as my foot touched the turf, I was at peace with myself. Two hours of insults from Andrew was tough enough, but now I was facing myself.

I shouldn't have put off practicing, but if I had to learn something new; the time was now. I set the ball down in front of my feet and picked it up with my foot as I juggled the ball with my left foot.

I smiled as I started to get the hang of it. It was as if the ball fit perfectly for me. I started jogging down the field while keeping myself focused on the ball and the goal. Oh how I've missed this so much.

I shot the ball in and imagined the goal keeper diving to the right. I felt joyus, and not to mention proud of myself. Something was off though...you know that feeling when you think someone is watching you? I had that feeling ever since I was juggling the ball, but I pushed the feeling away.

Now it felt stronger.

I stared up at the stands, and it was as still as could be. It was almost...eerie if you will. Completely, and utterly still. To steady my heightened nerves, I continued scoring goals.

It didn't help as I noticed the sun setting. I checked my phone, and it was 8pm. I didn't realize that I had been here for a while. I sat down and crossed my legs until I heard the big boom of lights in the stadium being turned off.

My eyes shot open, and I could only see darkness. It was still light enough to see my own hands in front of me, but not light enough to see more than 10 yards ahead of me. I turned on the flashlight on my phone, and took a deep breath. I felt a light shine on me as I gasped.

"Who is there?" it was probably a night guard. I couldn't be caught here at all, so I grabbed my ball and took of running until I crashed into another person.

I tried to scream, but their hand was already over my mouth.
