Aelin was just about to leave the cafetaria when Marco, Mario, Jacob and Sergio walked in. What a coincidence that the four players who followed her actively on instagram found her here. The rest of the team had followed her as well after the pizza incident the other day, but these four seemed to like stalking her the most.
'If that isn't our insta girl,' Jacob teased when he spotted her.
'Hey, you're not leaving are you?' Marco asked, frowning.
The blonde wrapped his arm around her shoulder and leaded her to the table Mario had chosen to sit at.
'I guess not?' Aelin laughed as Marco made her sit next to him.
'So, on a scale from one to ten, how excited are you to join Die Mannschaft in Russia?' Mario asked her with a grin.
'An eleven of course,' Aelin replied.
She really was feeling over the moon for being able to join Alexandre to the World Cup. It was perfect for her final project, and not to mention it might be great for her career as football photographer as well.
'You should take pictures of La Furia Roja as well,' Sergio said as he waved Josh over to order some drinks.
'Ey, what about DanishDynamite?' Jacob added quickly.
Aelin smiled at the man sitting around her. She loved how excited they were for her, and they really seemed to love her photo's.
'Don't worry guys, I'll be photographing other country's as well. My main focus will be the The Mannshaft of course, but Alexandre said I can choose some other teams as well. It will be good practise, and who knows what it can do for both my future career, and my final project,' she explained.
Marco frowned at that for a moment, but before Aelin could ask what was wrong, his frown disapeard and his face lit up again. Josh came over with five beers, and when he placed one in front of Aelin he winked at her.

After two beers Aelin started to feel slightly light headed. She tried to ignore it at first, but soon her head started pounding as well. She told the guys she would be right back and headed towards the bathrooms in a slow pass. If she walked too fast she was afraid she would fall over. Normally Aelin could drink at least twice as much, before she started to feel anything. And she wondered if she felt like this because she hadn't eaten much today. After emptying her bladder Aelin washed her hands and splashed some water in her face. For some reason cooling off always made her feel better whenever she drank some alcohol.
It didn't work this time.
When she stepped outside she saw Marco leaning against the wall next to the boys bathroom. He had a frown on his face and tapped his foot on the ground, as if he was impatient for something. Was he waiting for her?
'Are you okay?' he asked as soon as he saw her.
Aelin felt like she could only blink before he stood in front of her. She blinked again, but he was still there. His green eyes scanned her face and for a moment she thought she saw worry flash trhough them.
'I, err, yeah I'm fine,' she said just as her body swayed a bit.
Marco grabbed her arms to steady her.
'No you're not. Tell me how you feel,' he ordered as he lifted his left hand to feel her forhead.
'Dizzy,' she murmered.
His hand was cool against her skin and Aelin sighed at the feeling. It felt good. She leaned into his hand and closed her eyes.
'You're burning up,' Marco said. 'Come on, let me take you home.'
All Aelin could do was nod. Marco wrapped his arm around her waist to steady her once again, and started to lead her towards the exit.
'Wait,' Aelin started to say when he opened the door to the underground parking lot.
'I'll ask Mario to bring your stuff,' Marco said as if he knew what she was about to say.
Aelin nodded again. She felt like all energy left her body, and every second another part of her started to hurt. She leaned her head against Marco's shoulder and closed her eyes again, trusting him to take her home safely. The blonde footballer helped her get into his car and put on her seat belt when she couldn't get her arms to move. God, she must have come up with the flu or something. Marco hurried to the driver's seat and started his car.
'Where do you live?' he asked Aelin.
When she didn't answer he turned his head to look at her, only to find the girl fast asleep.
